Not including 2019 when conferences ****ed them over, this is the first time Melbourne have failed to finish top 4.
Shows how good Daisy Pearce was. Melbourne were dominating when she was there to lead them (keeping in mind she missed 2019 too).

No doubt Daisy was a big part of their success and they missed her leadership badly this year.
Their list is so good and they haven’t anything like they should have over the journey.

Most people in the predictions thread thought they'd go back-to-back or at least make the GF again. Even I underestimated the genius of Daisy (although not by as much as the majority).
