Im not sold the Brisbane coach, has got this batting order right.

Surely if your going to have a look at chasing this down in 13.3 overs needed to rejig that order and look to shut down shop if 3-4 wickets fell.

I would have gone: G Harris, L Harris , Rodrigues and Jemimah. The batting order they have put out suggests to me they didnt get that right.

Jemimah and Rodrigues are the same person.

Grand Final Hosts now confirmed.

Grand Final Next week at the MCG and its going to be rocking.

Eliminator on Wednesday in Sydney at Drummoyne Oval: Thunder v Hobart 7:15 PM AEST

Qualifier on Friday: Brisbane v Winner of Qualifier at Allan Border Field 7:15PM AEST

Renegades v Winner of Qualifier at MCG . 1:20 PM AEST day game.

The Grand Final shall have a reserve day, should the game be rained out on Sunday. I read this clause:"16.10.2.7 16.10.2.7The Grand Final shall have a reserve day allocated on which a Tie (with no ‘Super Over’ possible), No Result, or an Abandoned match may be replayed. No other matches shall have a reserve day allocated."

The capacity of Drummoyne they say is 5,500 (according to Austadiums). I reckon they should have played that at bigger ground like the SCG or the Showgrounds. North Sydney Oval would have got at least 4k+ even if its not even in the Western Sydney demographic area. I went to Drummoyne Oval, there for a Thunder v Perth game this season and there was a crowd of a tad under 900. (announced from ground announcer with no official figure available online) We will get more than that on Wednesday and Im not sure if the ground can deal with an 'overload'.

It would appear that the Heat were just concerned about winning the game, instead of doing what needed to be done to finish on top.
Coming out and going bang from ball 1 is difficult.Id say the number of teams chasing down 190+ in an actual T20 game (RRR of 9.50 an over) , from the womens side of the game is a low percentage. Ill have a stab and say around the globe in the womens game, its probably 1 successful chase in 20? (chasing 190+)

I guess its one thing saying your going to come out and have a go at it, and actually doing it. It seemed to me the commentators harped more on about it then anyone else. It was all done to generate a bit of interest. I almost consider tonights game to be like a test match on a final day when all 3 outcomes are all in-play. (Win, Loss and Draw). As soon as the wickets came, they had to readjust their game plan.

If your a Brisbane fan tonight, you wouldnt be super happy or super displeased. It was a game they were expected to win.
