Hawthorn great Don Scott and Brisbane's Clarke Keating are both premiership ruckman for their respective clubs.

What else are both known for in finals?

Don't know a lot about Scott.

Things Keating might be famous for in finals:

- broken nose
- carried the team when Beau went down
- has played a lot of finals
- has won a lot of finals
- has won a lot of finals in a row

Just guesses. Is this cheating?

no and no

Amount of hit outs they attained?

Only 2 ruckmen to get over 40 hitouts?

this is a difficult one so i might re-phrase this to: What else are both known for in one particular final?

I know the line across the center circle was brought in because of a final in which Don Scott and Gary Dempsey were opposed to each other.

Did they bring in the circle around the center circle because of any injury to Clarke keating?

I mean I know it was brought in because of a number of injuries to ruckmen, but did he sustain one as well that was the last straw?

clever answer but incorrect.

Both were on the receiving end of a blow which caused the culprit to be reported and suspended. I was thinking of the Scott/Keenan incident in 1978 (one of many), and realised Keenan dished it out to him that time.

I am thinking this too. Keating with a broken nose, 96, was it. McCartney?

excellent :thumbsu: i'll pay you that you worked it nicely

They're unique in that they were on the recieving end of strikes resulting in two nth.melbourne players missing grand finals:

1978- Peter Keenan (Nth.Melb) missed grand final for striking hawthorns donn scott.

1999- Jason McCartney (nth.Melb) missed grand final for striking Brisbane's Clarke Keating
