Woosha’s Mr Fix-it plan b to throw forward and save the day. Will be fondly missed by many footy fans. Very much a final say 4th quarter player.

If we had’ve got up in that 05 GF he would’ve been one of the big stories, helped turn the tide and get us back into the contest and seize the lead (and not for the first time that September)

Article also mentions Selwood, so it could be just related to that.

Regardless, they would mention a illness diagnosis if they could. 43 year olds don't just die without some form of self harm.

Rubbish.

People can pass away with no cause found at all, other than they just died. I've lost a much younger family member than this with zero explanation.

A favourite saying of the time was that Worsfold doesn't need a plan C because plan B was throwing Hunter forward.

Condolences to his family and loved ones, tough day not just for a West Coast fan but also all AFL fans in general.

RIP.

Excellent swing player wasn’t he.

Recall that being the go-to move of the Eagles of that 05-07 period.

Need to shake things up, get back in the game? Throw Hunter forward. Easy. Changed many games.

Very sad news.

Thoughts with his family and WCE wider community.

Sad news coupled with the Selwood news also. 😔

Males in between 40 and 55yo are PRIME heart attack candidates regardless if you still play football and go to the gym etc and keep your health well by not smoking.

We had a first aid course at work as i am in the construction industry and the stats for heart attacks by fit middle age men ( which i am ) are astronomical and worrying regardless of lifestyle.

Keep on top of your health fellas and get any pain recurring above the waist checked for heart issues.

Condolence to all family and friends. 😔

For all the focus that goes to the midfield possession machines and the spearheads, I reckon most of us would dream of being good enough to play the way Adam Hunter did: key back, key forward, just popped him wherever required to fix a problem. And his hairdo was quintessential mid-late 2000s to boot. Loved watching him play. Rest easy.

Far too young - some great memories - including the 2006 GF moments.

His name came up in conversation yesterday - was telling my grandkids about Beau Waters swallowing his goldfish during the 2006 celebrations- we googled the story - was shocked when his name came up in this mornings headlines [emoji22]

The black dog can go and get fl******

Horrible
He died of a heart attack mate

Returned home from footy training and was having chest pains, an ambulance was then called to his house but they couldn’t save him

Edit: posted this prior to further information coming to light

The Black Dog is attributed to Suicide and this was a heart attack.

I do agree with your sentiment though but this was not suicide but none the less still devastating for his family and friends. 😔

He gets remembered for that goal late in the 2006 GF, but another great highlight was earlier that year when he kicked the winning goal against Geelong to give the Eagles a win from 54 points down at Kardinia Park!!

I’ll never forget how awesome he was in 2006.
After he got bumped into the dugout as well

Very sad news.

From The West;
'Bunbury detectives have seized an amount of methamphetamine and paraphernalia from the scene'
Probably not his to be fair, just something you find in Bunbury when you turn over a rock or look under a car
