Here is PART 3

Donald Trump was sworn in as president of the United States on Monday 20th January, 2025 in Washington DC.

Take Note

Anti-trans commentary will be deleted and warnings issued, that includes mockery and trying to pass it off as a joke.

Play nice, please.

I was shopping in IGA the other day, they play the radio over the speakers there, and there was an announcement from the PM here asking all shoppers, obviously everywhere not just IGA, to avoid buying products made in the USA.
I tried but then caved in and got a Wild Turkey to watch the footy. Sorry PM, you ever tried Ned Bourbon 🤢

No. The only inventor was Wolff the self-admitted fabulist with a well documented penchant for embellishment. He came up with a story that relies on you believing he has 100 hours of tapes of Epstein talking specifically about Trump which of course you do. 🥴

The only excerpt he's ever released which purportedly has Epstein claiming he was Trumps best friend for 10 years has someone saying that line but it sounds nothing like Epstein to me.

When he either eventually admits it's another of his fab stories or it's proven to be fake will you admit you were sucked in? Nup. Never. Not your style.
Yes mate, I know - the recording which actually sounds exactly like Epstein is clearly an AI fake :tearsofjoy:

As always;
Yes mate, there is not a single reliable data point available is there. Not if it conflicts with your narrative. A genuine worry how much of the rationale for your positions is literally "trust me bro", maybe something to reflect on there

Incredible last line there too - you're actually suggesting here that were Wolff himself were to come out and admit he made the whole thing up and AI'd the tape that I wouldn't accept or acknowledge that. Reality being that of course I would, I'm a functioning rational adult.

Staggering projection on your behalf :drunk:

The story is probably apocryphal but if some people are doing that it's just going to be a big pain in the arse for the supermarket staff who have to go round fixing the 'pres' of the products on the shelves.

Then there's that many 'US products' are actually manufactured in Canada - such as Kraft Heinz, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and General Mills. Any boycotts of these products would impact Canadian jobs.

Starward Two-Fold

Gotta drink something whenever Gallagher kicks the ball...

Canada currently has tariffs placed on china, I wonder if we'll see something similar there. I fully support local industry, no need to be shipping stuff all around the world if it can be produced in country.
There does seem to be a groundswell of "buy locally" in Canada right now, a few Canadian friends have been talking about it.

We need a bit more of the "Australia Made" promotion back too.
The hippies are already onto it whenever they consider "food miles" as part of their shopping.

I'll stop buying American products when Albo stops flying on American made private jets.

:rolleyesv1:

Lying again.
Like you just did with your claim that Trump 'campaigned' on releasing the Epstein files? :tearsofjoy:

But no, my claim is not like yours at all - instead of being not able to find a single thing to back up my contention as just happened to you, here you are in posts #1283 and #1390 decrying Wolff as dodgy and a fabulist with a well documented penchant for embellishment, before then attempting to use his reporting to back your position on how Epstein and Trump's friendship ended in posts #1773 and #1789, then eventually flip flopping back to calling him a fabulist embellisher when convenient for you in post #1817.

Fairly straightforward.

During his campaign he said he would have no problem releasing them.

I thought he also mentioned it at one of his rallies too. I could go through all the transcripts of the hundreds of rallies during his campaign but after checking 10 and not finding any mentions of Epstein in those I'm happy to concede that characterising him as 'campaigning' on the issue is a bridge too far if that will make you happy.

Yep, 2 instances where he didn't bring it up but was instead asked about it by interviewers and, as suspected, tried to walk a line where he made vague noises about releasing the files without actually committing to do it.

Definitely didn't campaign on it and good on you for acknowledging this, progress :thumbsu:

President Donald Trump told reporter Sharyl Attkisson he was being “sarcastic” on the campaign trail last year when he said he would end the war in Ukraine on his first day in office if he was elected.

So there are core policies ,non core policies and sarcastic policies
lol

His promises on inflation and grocery prices similarly sarcastic I take it

Sarcasm noted. Not only doesn't the person being interviewed sound like Epstein, the interviewer (who has an English accent) doesn't sound like Wolff, a born and bred American.

Compare for yourself.

None of this matters though because Wolff's own claims about the tapes are so ridiculous only a fool could be suckered in by them.

The Guardian said:
Wolff claims the excerpt tape is a mere fraction of some “100 hours of Epstein talking about the inner workings of the Trump White House and about his longstanding, deep relationship with Donald Trump”.

🤣

Anyone who believes Epstein could talk for 100 hours about Trump including details about the "inner workings of the Trump White House" when Trump cut ties with him almost a decade prior is on some pretty good gear. He was trying to sell a book mate. Did you buy it perhaps?

We just need trump to be the face of an "Australian made" campaign, reverse psychology style.

I didn't flip flop at all. In #1,773 when I offered that tweet I simply said it might be of interest. I was hoping you would respond that Wolff was full of crap. To be clear I don't believe anything Wolff says, at all. The only way I would believe any claim he makes is if it is independently confirmed by another trustworthy source. So again, to be clear I offered that tweet solely to see your reaction to it. Once you had reacted to it I even explained the purpose of me posting it.

I knew how much stock you place in Wolff's stories so I was more interested in what you had to say about his comments about what Epstein thought about Trump blowing the whistle on him. Not saying much about that. I wonder if you've now changed your mind on how valuable his statements are now that you're confronted with stuff that doesn't suit your agenda driven narrative.

The fact you're now second guessing my motives to bolster your insane arguments is proof of how low you've sunk.

Sounds exactly like him, cheers for confirming :tearsofjoy:

Unsure if he has "100s of hours", you're the Wolff expert apparently so I'll leave that speculation to you. But that snippet is Epstein :thumbsu:

Not hundreds of hours. 100 hours. Nice round number isn't it? If you work a 5 day week from 9 - 5 with half an hour off or lunch it would take you more than 2 and a half weeks of work to produce that amount of audio tape.

you're the Wolff expert apparently

Not a Wolff expert, no. I hadn't heard of him until you tried to use his BS to back GP's claim Epstein was Trump's closest friend. The fact that it only took a few minutes to work out this guy was full of shit, something even the Trump hating NY Times acknowledges, says to me you will always be willing to turn a blind eye to a sources credibility just as long as they are smearing Trump.

:rolleyesv1:

Me either.

But its not Wolff's claim, its Epstein's. You can put another level on the mind palace and keep going with the fake AI tape angle if you like mate, just don't expect any functional adults to buy it. All it does is (further) expose you as a nutcase ¯\(ツ)

In our case, most of it cannot. Which just means we end up paying more.

It's Wolff who claims that it's Epstein on the tape remember?
Round and round we go

The same Wolff that the NY Times tells us makes stuff up.
Good to know you're now on board with reporting from the NYT, I'm sure you won't flip flop on that too at any stage :tearsofjoy:

Round and round we go

Blame yourself mate. You're a classic obdurate. You always have to have the last word. Most people give up and let you have it. I decided a while ago not to. Nothing gets under an obdurate's skin more than someone who won't let him lave the last word.

Good to know you're now on board with reporting from the NYT

Another lame attempt. Although they hate Trump and have some bias I can't recall ever saying they've reported something false. I've even posted articles from them.
