I was shopping in IGA the other day, they play the radio over the speakers there, and there was an announcement from the PM here asking all shoppers, obviously everywhere not just IGA, to avoid buying products made in the USA.
Yes mate, I know - the recording which actually sounds exactly like Epstein is clearly an AI fakeNo. The only inventor was Wolff the self-admitted fabulist with a well documented penchant for embellishment. He came up with a story that relies on you believing he has 100 hours of tapes of Epstein talking specifically about Trump which of course you do.
The only excerpt he's ever released which purportedly has Epstein claiming he was Trumps best friend for 10 years has someone saying that line but it sounds nothing like Epstein to me.
When he either eventually admits it's another of his fab stories or it's proven to be fake will you admit you were sucked in? Nup. Never. Not your style.
Yes mate, there is not a single reliable data point available is there. Not if it conflicts with your narrative. A genuine worry how much of the rationale for your positions is literally "trust me bro", maybe something to reflect on there
Canada currently has tariffs placed on china, I wonder if we'll see something similar there. I fully support local industry, no need to be shipping stuff all around the world if it can be produced in country.

I tried but then caved in and got a Wild Turkey to watch the footy. Sorry PM, you ever tried Ned Bourbon![]()
There does seem to be a groundswell of "buy locally" in Canada right now, a few Canadian friends have been talking about it.Canada currently has tariffs placed on china, I wonder if we'll see something similar there. Like you just did with your claim that Trump 'campaigned' on releasing the Epstein files?
Lying again.
During his campaign he said he would have no problem releasing them.
I thought he also mentioned it at one of his rallies too. I could go through all the transcripts of the hundreds of rallies during his campaign but after checking 10 and not finding any mentions of Epstein in those I'm happy to concede that characterising him as 'campaigning' on the issue is a bridge too far if that will make you happy.
lolPresident Donald Trump told reporter Sharyl Attkisson he was being “sarcastic” on the campaign trail last year when he said he would end the war in Ukraine on his first day in office if he was elected.
So there are core policies ,non core policies and sarcastic policies
Yes mate, I know - the recording which actually sounds exactly like Epstein is clearly an AI fake
The Guardian said:Wolff claims the excerpt tape is a mere fraction of some “100 hours of Epstein talking about the inner workings of the Trump White House and about his longstanding, deep relationship with Donald Trump”.
We just need trump to be the face of an "Australian made" campaign, reverse psychology style. There does seem to be a groundswell of "buy locally" in Canada right now, a few Canadian friends have been talking about it.
We need a bit more of the "Australia Made" promotion back too.
The hippies are already onto it whenever they consider "food miles" as part of their shopping.
Like you just did with your claim that Trump 'campaigned' on releasing the Epstein files?
But no, my claim is not like yours at all - instead of being not able to find a single thing to back up my contention as just happened to you, here you are in posts #1283 and #1390 decrying Wolff as dodgy and a fabulist with a well documented penchant for embellishment, before then attempting to use his reporting to back your position on how Epstein and Trump's friendship ended in posts #1773 and #1789, then eventually flip flopping back to calling him a fabulist embellisher when convenient for you in post #1817.
Fairly straightforward.
I knew how much stock you place in Wolff's stories so I was more interested in what you had to say about his comments about what Epstein thought about Trump blowing the whistle on him. Not saying much about that. I wonder if you've now changed your mind on how valuable his statements are now that you're confronted with stuff that doesn't suit your agenda driven narrative.![]()
Sarcasm noted. Not only doesn't the person being interviewed sound like Epstein, the interviewer (who has an English accent) doesn't sound like Wolff, a born and bred American.
Compare for yourself.
Sounds exactly like him, cheers for confirming
Unsure if he has "100s of hours"
you're the Wolff expert apparently
Me either.I hadn't heard of him until you tried to use his BS to back GP's claim Epstein was Trump's closest friend.
In our case, most of it cannot. Which just means we end up paying more.Canada currently has tariffs placed on china, I wonder if we'll see something similar there. I fully support local industry, no need to be shipping stuff all around the world if it can be produced in country.
Me either.
But its not Wolff's claim, its Epstein's.
Round and round we goIt's Wolff who claims that it's Epstein on the tape remember?
You can put another level on the mind palace and keep going with the fake AI tape angle if you like mate, just don't expect any functional adults to buy it. All it does is (further) expose you as a nutcase ¯\(ツ)/¯
Good to know you're now on board with reporting from the NYT, I'm sure you won't flip flop on that too at any stageThe same Wolff that the NY Times tells us makes stuff up.
Round and round we go
