I hope the irony of you saying this and then proceeding to underline parts of the CNN article you think somehow agree with your position and then ignoring the other two articles is not lost on anybody who bothers to read this.
I might come back to this later.
But it frustrates me how actively you're avoiding in engaging.

I didn't ignore anything.
And it was the Associated Press article.

You are not reading or engaging with the information, and it does 'trigger' me.

OK. My bad. I got which article you chose to screenshot and underline mixed up. My mistake but I think you misrepresenting that mistake as not engaging a bit weird. As to the other articles... nothing there that warranted you getting your red marker out for?

No problem.

You give me your list of things that you haven't read, that you'd like me to read and explain how they go against you.
While you continue to avoid engaging with what I'm actually writing, or the fact that the information you're 'sourcing' opposes your position.

I'll do all the work, for you to ignore. Because we both 'care' about this issue...
And it's when you find that I've stopped using my 'red marker' for whatever reason, be it exhaustion, frustration or it's finally an article that supports your position... that's when you know that you're right!!!

Can we find any middle ground here?

I think that if Trump decided to hold his inauguration indoors BECASUSE of a care and compassion for attendees, that that would be a good thing. And that it's a sign of a good person.
I think we can agree on that?

That if Trump's reasoning was for the safety of others, that's a good thing and it isn't fair to attack him for it. <- Is this a 'ground' we can both stand on?

To save a multi page back and forth on this straining a gnat type discussion, this is my position. Do I think moving the inauguration indoors was a good idea? Yes. Do I think it's a good idea to have people standing around outside in below freezing temperatures for 7 hours on a day forecasted to be the second coldest inauguration day on record? No.

I'd be interested whether you agree or disagree with those positions.

This is an example of what I'm talking about when I say that you're not reading or engaging with what I write.

As a russian bot you wouldnt have been given the note thats its Martin Luther King day
I just assumed he's part of the crew here that only celebrate the day MLK was shot

During Thursday's White House coronavirus task force briefing, an official presented the results of US government research that indicated coronavirus appeared to weaken more quickly when exposed to sunlight and heat.
The study also showed bleach could kill the virus in saliva or respiratory fluids within five minutes and isopropyl alcohol could kill it even more quickly.

"So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous - whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light," the president said, turning to Dr Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response co-ordinator, "and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it.
"And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too. Sounds interesting," the president continued.

"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?
"So it'd be interesting to check that."
Pointing to his head, Mr Trump went on: "I'm not a doctor. But I'm, like, a person that has a good you-know-what."

Just a casual question to all of the posters pushing the 'he never technically stated to inject bleach!'.

What are you positions on the Tim Walz 'tampon Tim' rhetoric?

Can we laugh at Trump and point out that he told people to inject bleach to cure Covid, and laugh at 'tampon Tim'?

Because I'd be interested if any of you even know why you repeat the tampon rhetoric about Tim Walz.
And I'd love to see you justify it, while arguing against anyone laughing at Trump for suggesting to inject bleach.

They constantly jump up and down pretending they care about Who Framed Ashley Babbitt, yet I didn't see a single flower emoji or any condolences posted on her anniversary.

I'm going to mow the lawn and then yell at clouds, as a mark of respect to the outgoing administration.
I was going to have a massive house party with a bunch of people I don’t know, throw rocks at my neighbours house and blame the person who used to live here previously as a mark of respect to the outgoing administration

Just like all the leftie media jumped up and down about wanting a ceasefire in Israel/Gaza and now all of a sudden don’t care about it because Trump was involved

Look that’s a tremendous idea to pay respects to the outgoing admin.

I will copy that if you don’t mind.

I will throw rocks at the neighbours, break their windows, call the cops on them for all the noise their windows are making, then complain to the council their house is a safety hazard.

Then when the bastards work out what I did and get ready to hurl the rocks back over the fence… I shall sell the house, leave, and tell everyone they are NAZIS! tehe 🙃

I would like to extend to each of you, and to each of your families, my sincerest best wishes for a happy Inauguration Day.
And likewise to you and yours, ET. Let us party like 'twas 1799.

My deepest concern was that the haters would succumb to outrage-fatigue after the great man's first term, leaving us deprived of the delightful spectacle of their impassioned (if irrational) outbursts this time around. Thankfully, my fears were entirely misplaced. The fresh waves of TDS talking points continue to pour in at an almost hourly pace. The latest installment is...

squints

...the inauguration being held indoors.

I give it a week before Rachel Maddow is delivering a groundbreaking exposé on Trump’s third cousin’s neighbor’s niece purchasing a home from someone who was once married to a Russian national, and other such heavy-hitting criticisms.

I remain optimistic that the Don may surpass his previous high score and achieve a tremendous three impeachments this term... though perhaps that's just wishful thinking on my part. What are your thoughts on the topic m8?
