Not my hero. Just a tool to get rid of people like you out of the system.

Then she can go.

Democrats love their enablers. They set the standards for them.

None of the European countries that Brits retire to are going to kick them out. It's very straightforward to get a long term residency visa.

Mate, that is unequivocally not true.

They're foreign nationals now mate.

While they can apply for residency (and many EU States implemented transitional laws that let many Brits already living in their countries stay) the fact is its now become a hell of a lot harder that it was before (when all you needed was a train ticket).

Being outside the UK now also affects things like your pension.

Yes, but nowhere near 50% unless you’re an American manufacturer that should be manufacturing in the US except for anti-manufacturing policies in the US.

There are no 'anti manufacturing policies' in the USA.

It's just cheaper to make things overseas, than it is un the USA, because the USA is wealthy. Same thing here in Australia.

That's not going to change either, unless the USA gets poorer.

Other than trying to run the nation as a literal Autarky (and watch American corporations leave the USA in droves, and their GDP and PPP plummet to third world status if that happens), there is no policy you can implement to change that.

Something wrong with your source then because he has only just been released and has been released early. You have to dig around a bit but it seems in July he sought to have his conviction vacated after the Supreme Court ruled in June that the Justice Department had interpreted the applicable statue too broadly.

Forward to today and it seems he has now been successful in having the conviction vacated which is why he has just been released.

The source you're reporting from is biased and riddled with misinformation.

I cant find anything about him being released early on the grounds of the SCOTUS ruling, and the 'source' you provided, provided no links to any case law or other source for its claims.

It looks like may very well have been simply paroled out to commence his 3 year supervision order.

He plead 'guilty' didnt he? I mean he literally threw smoke bombs at police, stormed the capital (with the intent of disrupting the vote) and entered the building (taking photos of himself in there).

If he wasn't trying to disrupt the vote, what was he doing? A sightseeing tour?

Do you think what he did should be lawful?

The consumer is not obligated to buy the imported fridge.

Good luck with finding a fridge made in America, and if you can find one made in America, it's going to cost 3 times more than one made overseas.

Guess which country shit is about to get a heck of a lot more expensive in?

Luckily our government isnt stupid enough to do the same and whack tariffs on shit.

Just wait for a sale.

The best part is rich people won’t care and will pay extra for their imports thus filling the govt coffers with juicy tariff money to pay down some of the trillions of dollars of debt caused by democrat incompetence and corruption.

Win win.

Rich people already don't care and already pay more for imports (usually of top end stuff).

A billionaire doesnt give a shit if you increase GST to 200 percent. His groceries, clothes and tech gear costs twice as much. Like he gives a ****. What's an extra few grand a year to someone earning millions?

Its the poor people and the battlers I care about. An extra few grand a year to someone on 30K is crippling.

Wanna clothe your children?

That's about to get 50 percent more expensive.

A will phones, TVs, computers and all technology:

https://www.asiapacific.ca/publication/despite-de-risking-chinas-role-global-smartphone-supply#:~:text=For more than three decades,of strategic industries like semiconductors.

Here is the thing. Samsung and Apple will have to increase the RRP of their flagship phones in the USA to compensate for the tariffs.

The likely outcome will be, that the RRP will remain constant globally (we'll pay more for phones here in Oz as well). You won't see them sell cheaper versions of phones (without the USA markup) in Australia, the UK etc.

They'll just increase their profits, and we'll all pay.

The rich will get richer, while the poor will have to fork out more.

The mark up on white goods is a joke.

I never pay retail.

The mark up on white goods is a joke.

It's about to get higher.

And not just in the USA.

Foreign manufacturers (Apple, Samsung, Sony, Yamaha, LG etc) are going to increase the US price of goods (RRP) to compensate for the tariffs.

Those mark-ups will not just apply to the USA, they'll be global.

End result will be those foreign manufacturers will make a fortune (as will the US Government), while you and I will be worse off (even though we don't live in the States).

Adam Smith opposed tariffs for this (and many other) reasons.

Oh well.

At least we will have world peace.

I for one am willing to pay a bit more to buy Made in Australia 🇦🇺 and help our local business.

**** Temu. There I said it 😎

Most of the lefties on here seem to all rely on the MediaBiasFactCheck site for bias and credibility ratings and even that rates WUSA9 as least biased and highly credible.

I mean he literally threw smoke bombs at police

No, he didn't. Or at least he was never charged with that.

Here's a copy of the signed "Statement of Offense' lodged by the US Attornery in the court. If you read it you will see they never charged Ochs with that. They said that Nicholas DeCarlo threw one smoke bomb (not multiple). Also, DeCarlo never pulled the pin.
