Yes he isnt a convicted sex trafficker and he wasnt charged. But there was an interesting discussion on Meidas about this. Apparently the girl in question in the time of the incident in question and the investigation by the FBI went on to enter the adult entertainment industry. The thought is that perhaps the DOJ didnt rate their chances of getting a win based on the victim losing credibility.

I dont know for sure on this. Without seeing the DOJ notes its only speculation. A high profile individual like Gaetz, I can imagine though that unless they were 100% convinced they were going to win, then I can see that they wont roll the dice.

Plenty of witnesses though are coming out the woodwork. Now he is out of the running for AG and resigned from congress i doubt we will hear much more about this.

Interesting video. To sum up, wyoming politicians tried to do an outright ban on abortion. Apparently a constitution amendment by republicans to undermine Obama Care.

So the amendment says the only one who can make healthcare decisions is the affected person. The judge determined that this means women have the right to determine their own healthcare.

Hey even I agree they are over the top a lot of the time. I only really follow Ben and Michael Popok because they are seasoned lawyers. So I watch for law interpretations and they were the ones. But yeah there is a lot of crazy over the top takes with some of the others on that channel.

Contrary to popular belief the AG needs a sound legal mind. You may think, oh he will be really successful at weeding out corruption, but that is literally not his job. It would take him 2 minutes to get someone in the DOJ to do start a task force.

I don't recall you saying 1 thing about the qualifications and suitability of a single biden nominee for any position and look how they turned out for the country...complete disasters on a scale never seen before.

Hey, no one said anything about Bidens nominations that I can recall. It was such a non issue at the time. I dont think I even really started positing in the political threads until late 2022 early 2023 so surely that gives me a pass. But if you wish to discuss some I will happily engage.

Ive said the border decisions were wrong, badly advised and the timing of covid made it so much worse. So lets exclude the border. But heads up buddy, if it makes you feel better I dont have much of an opinion on Bondi.

The issue of abortion now correctly rests with state legislature, as does in our own country. Good to see you on board with that.
