I think they'd have a max bet/ max liability. They might take it though if you phoned up and requested
Wouldn't take that risk though without a hedge which would chew up most the profits.

I would be surprised if they let you on for that much, don't even know if they would take 10k
I'd hang in there for better value. Wouldn't be shocked if it pulls a 2nd place. I'd wait for that clear lead on tunas and see if top10 has better value before you drop anything half as fat as that bet haha. At the same time it's probably going to win so your call! YOLO hahah

Potentially losing 70k for 30 grand just isn't smart betting. do you have 70 thousand dollars sitting around? if so, that extra 30 isn't going to be a huge addition. but to most people, losing that 70 thousand would be disasterous.
Maybe if it was paying double or more but nah. nah.

I ended up dropping the 70k on Dance Monkey @ 1.50.
Seven separate 10k bets.
For those wondering, I do have extra money sitting in my account profited from investments.
I understand some think this is stupid, I actually think it’s the dumbest thing I have ever done, but on Jan 27 I’m going to kick back, have a few drinks with some mates and ride her home. I would never of put any bets on hottest 100 in previous years.
But this year I’m confident, maybe over confident but you gotta trust your gut.

So did you get odds of $1.50 for the whole 70k? Beteasy would've shortened their odds as you were doing it?

Sportsbet, odds did not shorten.
I reckon my biggest competitor will be Flume with Rushing Back. Followed by Bad Guy.
Just so I'm clear, you were allowed to get on for 70K via 7 separate bets of 10K each, all without the odds shortening until you had placed the whole 70K?
All this while corps have a standard max limit of ~ $300 for novelty bets
those of us who have won at sportsbet and other bookies before struggle to get more than 10 dollars on the countdown for each bet. When our accounts were virgin we could max win 1k. Some people could 2k max win for number 1. Only people with accounts that already have huge losses would be entertained to bet that much. So youre either a troll or have already lost 100k with sportsbet and they are confident you’re a recurrent loser.
Just flicked through approx 30-40 random hottest 100 votes on Instagram and not 1 single vote for dance monkey. Tiny sample size but find it interesting

lol flume as biggest threat ?? you should have waited a few days of voting at least so you had a better idea.

Wouldn't take too much from the first day, not always the best indicator. Lots of heavy songs. Gambino had a big lead early last year. Having said that, have now hedged just a little on Denzel ($21 @ Neds).
