1. His reps made contact with Carlton to see if they can possibly facilitate a trade. There doesn't seem to be any indication they reached out to us despite the fact his club was back deep into Fantasia and we would have been a logically easier place to get to.

2. He hasn't said he wants out at all costs, and Port have no incentive to trade their contracted captain unless this would be the case.

3. After what happened to Orazio, there is no chance that Port would give us the finger, let alone Ollie Wines this late in trade week

I don't believe that. There is some genuine ITK's over on the carlton board who have been saying this for the last week. Even specifically, the player approaching them. Plus all their other mail. I'm certain they'e well connected lol
