Francis is a second round proposition.

The fact that he is a former pick 5 or whatever is probably outweighed 2-1 by the actual performances of his over the last 2 years. He's played 5 games and hasn't really impressed at VFL level. He'd be worth a 4th round pick which means that given he was an ex pick 5 a 2nd round pick is probably fair, and makes no difference to the Stringer deal.

Kristian Jaksch is another ex high draft pick who did not impress in his first few years and is now not on an AFL list

Brilliant Essendon have some worthwhile assets now. Francis + change to Adelaide for pick 16, 16 + 11 to us for Stringer and 30. Still unders in my books.

How funny is it that Stringer is worth Pick 29 yet a fat, unfit Aaron Francis who can barely run out a VFL game for no other reason than himself - is worth Pick 16 or more. Really is a great laugh.
