I doubt you'd get those odds when Hawthorn are in the hunt for it as well.

Interesting that there are 10 teams Under even money for 8 spots, and the Tigers are just Over evens..

It drops away rather rapidly after that.

Would not surprise me to see one of the bottom 5 get into the 8 as there is usually one smokey each year....

The HARD part is picking that ONE ;)

From that lot I'd take the Dees

I can't believe Hawthorn is 4th pick. WCE are certainties. they have a quality midfield and 10 home games in WA against interstate opposition. They only need to win another 2 or 3 games and they have another 2 against Freo which they should split plus some travelling games against the weaker opposition. I wouldn't take $4 for Carlton or the Dogs with stolen money. Port are a good enough bet. Brisbane and Collingwood are too short. Even a side as good as Brisbane can fall over so I'd want a better return.

The Kangas @ $3.00 looks the best value bet of all amongst that bunch. Coming of a season with 11 wins, 1 draw and 10 losses the form looks OK and the list in better shape than last season.

I would have expected Freo to be shorter odds than the Eagles. I also think that Essendon and Sydney represent poor value as I wouldn't be surprised if both teams were looking on in Sept this year.

On paper yes, but obviously the bookies are framing the odds from a different formula.

Why not give it to the Salvos - at least that is tax deductible.

I won over a grand at the spring carnival. So i used some of that money to make that bet. So really im losing nothing. If i win it is a decent payoff.

Geez all those r bloody short, think I'll wait till half of those teams get booted out of the wizard cup first round, then the money is made.
