Are other states being infiltrated with these trumpet of patriots ads?

I get them all over youtube. I don't even skip them, I'm happy for his ad spend to be wasted on someone like me who will have a dart, grind some weed or take a leak while his 60 seconds of bullshit plays.

eerrrgh F i hate gas cooktops.
i moved to induction a few years ago at my house, love it.
in my curent rental, they have a gas cooktop - cant stand it. the lowest setting on the smallest burner is still too high a temperature.

whats annoying is this place has had a major high spec reno, like the oven is RRP $8000, the rangehood is $2500 RRP and the fridge and dual 2-draw dishwashers are also high spec/cost.

but getting back to oven, why didnt they go induction? gas sucks balls
just dried out and mostly burnt my 'simmering' dinner - saved most of it by carefully scooping out the top 3/4 and not disturbing the burnt bottom 1/4.

fmd.
gas
Loved our gas cooktop in Melbourne. Also gas space heaters were excellent.

This should be a beautiful and uplifting story about an amazing and inspiring man who lost everything and found peace and love again, but the Facebook pages responses to this article is from the brain dead Trump loving Gun loving nut jobs who want their guns back FML

I'll never understand why people put so much focus on the facebook/twitter/reddit comments. 80% of them are bots, 15% complete ****ing morons and the other 5% are people not realising that.

They're the best one, the boomers getting in shit fights, they make the comment sections, particularly on community pages.
I will say when I am bored I like to get into those shit fights. One particular one was about wind power, which I had no knowledge about. By the end of the argument I was on expert on everything wind power just from googling to counter their points.

I love how then reading comments on news articles it becomes really easy to tell who hasn't read beyond the headline to even attempt to grasp the basics

One of the best ones was a couple of years back when ALDI stores in Aus where for a short time going to be stocking Streets 'Cookie Crumble' icecreams, and for most folks it's simply a case of ok & keep going about their day, but for the perpetually outraged (as I love calling them), they all got on the bandwagon about Streets going woke, boycotts etc

The reason being that here we have the Golden Gaytime icecream and in NZ it's the same icecream but called Cookie Crumble as the other name was already linked to an NZ icecream. This was simply a case that Streets was importing the NZ version for a limited time & selling them in ALDI stores, but people who'd seen a photo decided they knew everything

Even the past 48hrs there's a story from NSW about a primary school that contacted parents asking them to confirm their child's attendance at an upcoming ANZAC commemoration ceremony. Some of the comments on the issue are completely unhinged, but there's folks commenting, "I hope the parents let their feelings be known" - only problem, the email was sent after a group of parents contacted the school saying they didn't want their children to attend the ceremony due to their Christian beliefs being against war

The school is likely on a tough position where they can't agree that one small group doesn't have to attend without making available to all students

I love their angry reactions to any news about Sam Kerr, especially after news she is staying on as Tillys captain.
They actually seem to think that what she did in the cab was far worse/more offensive than the crap the likes of Shane Warne, Steve Smith and other male sports stars and captain's (esp in the NRL) have done over the years

Bitter old Colonial Times pissants the lot of em

oscar allen discussion on sen this morning. criticism and critical discussion about this non event. His mental health is raised as a "be careful" about criticism

His mental health is an issue if WC don't perform or don't offer him the contract he wants or match any FA bid or don't accept a trade offer.

If an opposition club taps him up in round 3 and then offers him a contract and baulk because they have to trade that will be OK though.

The AFL media is a joke. Zak Butters is 2 x AA, 2 x B&F winner, 1 x AFLCA champion player winner, 2 x AFL most courageous player award winner the last two years. I give it 2-3 weeks before he's an injury riddled scrub worth a late first rounder.

That'd be silly. A lot of companies close over the Christmas period.

my work head office is in The Netherlands, their financial year is the calendar year, we have to stock take before we shut down for Christmas

I remember when the NRL was the Winfield Cup back in the 80s. Free cigarettes were handed out as you entered the stadiums.
You've nearly got to walk into the next postcode to light up at the cricket. It's not fair to make smokers walk that far, we get out of breath.

Have you ever thought about CrossFit?
