I do my online grocery shopping these days (aside from laziness, I don't drive and Big crowds at shopping centres at this time of the year can give me anxiety/panic attacks)

Anyhow I am looking for Insect Repellant at Coles (whose prices and delivery is cheaper than Woolies) and guess what? They don't stock any Aeroguard

So Un-Australian.

Poor Max Walker (RIP) and Jimmy Plunkett. Their Legacy forgotten.

Bushman is the go mate

Wife tested positive this morning, eldest son still negative.

Our 8 week old will just have to get the antibodies from my wife’s breastmilk.

Looks like we will be spending Christmas together after all, it’ll just be the 4 of us.

Sorry to hear that Jatz - take care
Keep a close eye on your newborn - our grand daughter got it at 4 weeks and went from ok to deteriorating very quickly

That's awful mate. Hope she made a full recovery. That must have been a terrifying experience for your family.

One sided friendships can get in the bin 🚮
I just did a cleanup of my contact list and social media for this very reason - it was giving me the shits

It really takes a lot, a LOT, for me to give up on someone. I'm always worried that oh maybe they're going through something and they'll come back to me when they're ready. But I'm getting to the end of my tether now and I think it's time to make the chop.

It definitely a different dynamic. Piss ups with mates are now BBQs with kids
I've always been good with it. They had more things to fret about than me, I'm a good eccentric uncle and as we've got older and their kids get old enough to look after themselves they often tend to revive a few of their more sociable pre child habits anyway.

Yeah we’ve got a couple of childless people in our sort of circle that catch up and both of them are adored by all the kids. They get to have fun with kids and then go home to peace. I envy them. 😂

100%

We did two at home held the pets while it was happening. Very very peaceful.

Did one at the vet. Thankfully the vet really went above and beyond. Quiet room with low lighting and soft blankets. Gave the kitty some proper treats beforehand too.

Always hard but you can see the comfort they have from you being there with them right til the end. Really don’t know how you could not be there for them.
They know something is not right. But mercifully, hopefully they don't know exactly what's happening.
