One of the best series I can think of, and I'm not into watching series generally.

The Americans is a very good series aswell, highly recommend it

Had a snhitty last night at the pub and ate all the salad first so I could enjoy the yummyness last

I always eat the salad with the Parma but ensure the last couple of bites are just the best thickest and juiciest parts of the Parma and the salad is finished. Often end up with a few chips left over though as I’ve really gone off pub chips in recent years.

Pleases me/Shits me.

Work has been quiet. Emails are barely coming through. NFI whats going on

Lucky you…

Our phones haven’t stopped since 8:30 last Monday. We really need to set up an automatic answering service which would answer 99% of calls and we’d only get 1-2 a day.

Last week it was every minute someone bitching about the same thing and today it’s asking if something has happened yet, yes this morning, ok…

Yeah i pitched in on the phones last week and there was like 200 emails an hour to deal with and angry bastards calling for blood!

Back to my own work and it's been dead

At my workplace I'm the guy who speaks to the angry customers, I kind of enjoy it, people get so pissed off it's hilarious. I try not to troll them too much but admittedly I do if I can get away with it sometimes.

I did the drop in yesterday (TheLoungeLizard ) on a mate. She works at ALDI and this nutter of a customer took offence at getting his bags checked. He followed her around the store yelling at her she was ugly and no one would ever marry her.

I'm so glad I don't work retail

Guys who abuse females like that are usually weak as piss, that's when you need a bloke around to tell him to leave her alone, they usually shit themselves then.

Actually it was a female supervisor. Told him how dare he speak to a female like that and to get the hell out. He did

Should try working on front desk at a drug and alcohol counselling service when mandated clients attend

I had forgotten how bad it was until I recently covered some lunch breaks - I’m too old to give a **** what I get called these days but I do feel sorry for the young ones who cop it daily

People who abuse service staff in general are usually complete ****wits.

If Aldi don't have any chicken nuggets or whatever it's most likely not the fault of the nearest staff member. Go to a different supermarket, get on with your life. Save your anger for businesses that you engage to do a specific job at a specific time that **** that up.

I once had someone complain to me that we don't have a product they stock at Tesco. Cool, what do you want me to do with that information? It's still not on my trolley of boxes.

Haha can you provide examples?

Something similar happened when I was shopping earlier this year.

I go to a fresh fruit shop thing, it's run by Middle Eastern people, the cashiers are women. A (white) guy in his 60s/70s got asked to show his bags and he started firing off at her.

**** this, **** that kinda thing, think he called her a bitch or something. I jumped straight in and said don't you dare speak to her like that. She's doing her job, imagine if this was your daughter etc. You're a disgrace. She was very greatful.

Tesco. Isn't that British

My husband once stepped in on an absolute pig who was abusing a girl of about 16 over his coffee being cold. He was screaming at her and swearing and carrying on. The poor girl burst into tears. As soon as my husband told him to piss off and leave her alone, the crazy bastard shut his mouth and walked off. Loser.

It would've been about 25 years ago, I watched my heartless mother berate a girl at maccas to the point of tears. It became a seminal point in my life in terms of how I would treat service workers.

Corio can be a rough area. I've seen a fight break out at the deli counter at Coles. But for some reason Aldi is like a little sanctuary of good experience. I always end up having a laugh with someone as we wait at the checkout. People wave you through if you only have a few items. The staff are super helpful.
