20 K and 26 K for a BBQ?

You can't redo for kitchen for those prices with decent oven/ cook top etc .
I was in Harrods and I saw a fifty thousand quid bbq, it was the 90s so f*** knows what it would cost now but it was round with a fifteen metre diameter with a bunch of different stations around it. It was an undeniable thing of beauty.

Wow.

We put in a new kitchen .
The whole process was not great.

They said there will a cost to remove and take the old one.So I sold it on MP.
Then 2 guys came to take it and there was no cost.

Took plans to the kitchen people they were not happy with the plans.
So young lady came over .
I said don't change to much just want better.
I've also designed the kitchen please make it better.
About a hour and half totally changed everything...WTF .
Took to the 3rd plan to get it right.
3.5 hours later.

Then they had to come back because they didn't finish it.

Wasn't cheap either.

Im toying with replacing my hard wood kitchen benchtop with stone. Exact same shape size, remove and replace with just a brand new sink undermount.
Hoping it wont be too annoying a process. 🤞🏻

My parents did the cheap-o alternative - replaced a 70's style thick YELLOW wooden benchtop. To a wooden black top that was 3/4 thinner than the old one. However what they did since (15ish years later) was they covered OVER the black wooden top with imitation stone covering. Looks crazy expensive, even though it's not really lol.
