for long periods we made hawthorn look very second rate with that pressure at the contest.

What a night. At quarter time it seemed as if it was going to be neck and neck all game. Then the 2nd quarter happened. Smashed em all over the park!
How perfect was the timing of the rain. Just as Eagle Rock started to play it pissed down, couldn't care less then... singing and dancing in the rain!!
Just finished watching the replay. <3 to Nic, brought a tear to my eye seeing him like that after the game.
Every player had a good game, and more than half the side had a brilliant game. Gov and Schofield probably the most quiet, but understandable with their injury concerns. Massive effort for Gov to get back out after the 1st quarter. A weeks break will be super important, but especially needed for Gov, Schoey, Priddis and Masten.

I wish I could have participated in this thread during the match but I was forced to be sociable with a lady friend.
Still can't really believe what happened. Was cringing every time we got a free kick because I knew our performance would be discounted because of every single one we got, but the efforts of our guys under pressure was just universes away from what it has been since 2007. So proud. So hungover.

my hawks supporter mate had me by the scruff of the neck at the vic after the game for bagging hodge out.he reckons the umps gave it to us and we wont win in Melbourne..was awesome to stir him up
