Mick Oxlong you mean? I'm more than happy to have more contributors come on board. But like any community, articles still have to go through an edit phase. Clean up language, improve readability, add images, make sure there's nothing slanderous, breaching laws etc.
If you write on The Roar, nothing is published without going through an editor.

Depends on how you tell it. You can tell the truth but do it in a defamatory and slanderous manner.

Ah. Just looked it up. They've actually changed the provisions in some states. Used to be there needed to be a justification/public interest to publish even true things (what I was thinking of). That's gone now. So a defence exists if what is published is substantially true.

Problem is...you still need to makr a case.

Problem is...you still need to makr a case.
You still need to publish in a way that's not defamatory or would cause a reasonable person to believe it as such, hence causing damage to reputation where none existed.

A good example is the issue with one of our directors earlier this year - while that woman defamed him and was constantly in contempt of court, the newspapers reported on it with minimal commentary and speculation.
