View attachment 1826832The most valuable players in the AFL? Gulden and Daicos leading the best crop of young guns in years
It’s an age old question (or at least as age old as there has been Australian Football) – who is the most valuable player in the league. Not just right now, but going forward into the f…www.hpnfooty.com
Agree. Plenty to play out this year and I’m still bullish about the list’s capability from 2025, especially if we can bring in a couple of capable players and draft a couple of decent kids.Even though I was pretty flat yesterday with the Schultz news, after a day's rest I'm over it.
I don't think it changes anything in the medium to long term. We're on track to be dominant.

Hey man, Amiss highlights are always a positive.
Very positive.. hopefully he’s not the next Pavlich.. in the fact that he has no support and A graders around him.Amiss being just about the most skilful young player I’ve ever seen in a dockers jersey is all that’s keeping me positive right now.
I don’t believe he wasted 3 possessions all season. Playing in the hardest area of the ground too.
The most important player we have drafted since Nat Fyfe I reckon, by some distance. We need him to become generational.
As good as all our other young players are, he is out on his own as THE key piece.
Well it seems we are going all in on getting McDonald to be his sidekick.Very positive.. hopefully he’s not the next Pavlich.. in the fact that he has no support and A graders around him.
Getting Macdonald would free up Jackson to rotate forward, ruck and more time midfield. Amiss, Jackson and Treacy are brilliant at applying defensive pressure for key position players so Treacy would still be in the team but playing on the third tall defender on a regular basis. Jackson would be rotated forward only when one of Mcdonald, Treacy or Amiss was resting on the bench so we'd rarely have all four on he ground at any time with all four in the team. The best part if we did get Mcdonald would be that Jackson could play onball more where at centre bouncedowns as a midfielder he has the potential to dominate clearances.Well it seems we are going all in on getting McDonald to be his sidekick.
Not sure where that leaves Treacy though. Depth for Jackson or replacing Sturt as the medium forward?
How awesome would it be to have Chad Warner in our squad?View attachment 1827107
I’ll take this bloke. PAV 2023 has to be as good as PAV 2012
POSITIVITY THREAD, NO NEGATIVITY
THANKS
Yep, there's also the ability for Treacy to play on ball too, as well as show a 3rd look in the ruck (he's proved more that handy last year). His field kicking is sublime too, and he always seems to mark up the field out of F50. Might have another Unicorn on our hands (or at least a horse with a bump on its head).Getting Macdonald would free up Jackson to rotate forward, ruck and more time midfield. Yetwe didn't have Darcy or Erasmus leave
100%For anyone concerned about our player attrition rate, go on the Dockers website and read the article “Player commitment “largest of any club”.
It highlights the huge number of players who have committed for the long term.
It‘s a great read and given the calibre of players involved, it reinforces the notion that the Club knows what its doing.
