Look my better half is Serbian so my kids are part Serbian. Were they personally offended , not really , but you can’t say stuff like this anymore , plus it wasn’t even funny. Personally I am a Novak fan and things that start off as banter can go wrong at times.

The "kick him out" comment overstretched the mark. The rest was clearly joking around.

I can’t help thinking there is a double standard here. Novak is a public figure and with that there is always going to be some level of attention, positive and negative. If similar light hearted comments were directed toward other public figures in different arenas such as a politician, it would be a complete non event. Novak also makes exceedingly more money than your average public figure too. I think he’s being a bit precious.

Agree , but rightly or wrongly you can’t say much these days without someone taking offence. It’s a different world now. People in the media need to be much more considered when they say anything otherwise it can comeback to haunt them.
