One day comp only plays 7 games. The Sheffield Shield plays 10.

We need NSW to hold on for a draw and we need to do the same, to keep both Vic and Tas in striking distance.

Rain stopped play there by the looks of it? So that will increase the chances of NSW holding on

I'm not sure what the context is here, but I agree that umpire's call should be done away with. What even is the point?

Either use the technology, or don't. Sure, there's still a margin of error, but the margin for technology is far smaller than that of a human's.

I'm sure it won't be long until all umpiring will be done remotely by AI anyway. Cricket will probably hold out for a while because 'the umpires are part of the tradition of the game'. But eventually the authorities will remember that the game exists for players, not umpires.
 
Did they drive a steamroller on the wicket after the first innings? Seemed like there was plenty on offer for the bowlers early on but from midway through day two it turned into a road.
