Adolescence
Ep 3 when the psychologist talks to Jaymie and he's recounting when him and the girl went to the fair, and then how he was with her but denies he didn't use the knife. Was quite shocking how that unfolded because it's the big reveal that he did it but has mental issues. I mean we probably all knew he did it but the way it was confirmed. Then ep 4 where we learn where he inherited those from.

Also each episode filmed in one shot. The acting is remarkable especially from the young boy. First time acting!

They usually don't film this sort of thing in one shot (eg Birdman and 1917) so I was looking for how they might have stitched it together. I didn't see any of the usual tricks so maybe it was the real thing. Either way I was blown away by what they achieved technically. You have to get everything right - camera angles, focus, sound, lighting, movements of dozens of extras.

That's before you get to the actors getting it spot on. We have come to expect this level of excellence from Stephen Graham but everyone else stepped up. The scene between the boy and the psychologist was tense!

3 episodes into Adolescence. We watched 1 and 2 the first night then 3 last night so the time jump was extra jarring. Couldn't watch anymore than that 3rd episode last night. Just way too heavy.
I decided not to watch it for that reason, I don't need the heartache.

Watched the trailer last night. Have slotted it in for a watch during the week.
It has the dude from Middle Aged Dad Band too (who I love), and the supports are good.

Some of the "funny" lines I haven't laughed at, but others are also clever.
