Also each episode filmed in one shot. The acting is remarkable especially from the young boy. First time acting!Just finished watching Adolescence.
Incredibly well acted, but very dark and sad.
Yep.Also each episode filmed in one shot. The acting is remarkable especially from the young boy. First time acting!
And Stephen Graham was amazing but he is always good. Also each episode filmed in one shot. The acting is remarkable especially from the young boy. First time acting!

They usually don't film this sort of thing in one shot (eg Birdman and 1917) so I was looking for how they might have stitched it together. I didn't see any of the usual tricks so maybe it was the real thing. Either way I was blown away by what they achieved technically. You have to get everything right - camera angles, focus, sound, lighting, movements of dozens of extras.
That's before you get to the actors getting it spot on. We have come to expect this level of excellence from Stephen Graham but everyone else stepped up. The scene between the boy and the psychologist was tense!
Just for context with Adolescence. They depicted a white boy from a good family being brainwashed by Andrew Tate, when the story was based on a nutcase from Uganda who was neglected by his parents.

I decided not to watch it for that reason, I don't need the heartache.3 episodes into Adolescence. We watched 1 and 2 the first night then 3 last night so the time jump was extra jarring. Couldn't watch anymore than that 3rd episode last night. Just way too heavy.
Watch it just to enjoy the fact you don't have to bring kids up in this world.I decided not to watch it for that reason, I don't need the heartache.
Do you mean in film, or in real life? Can't have the 'bad guy' not being a white male these days.
I am totally unsurprised by the revelations so far (just watched ep 3). Social media is a scourge.Watch it just to enjoy the fact you don't have to bring kids up in this world.
Watched the trailer last night. Have slotted it in for a watch during the week.Started The Residence. I like it.
It has the dude from Middle Aged Dad Band too (who I love), and the supports are good.Watched the trailer last night. Have slotted it in for a watch during the week.
