Good luck to Tony Mowbray. He's been battling bowel cancer for the past year so it's good that he feels well enough to get back into management. Also, credit to Sunderland and Birmingham City for supporting him when he was sick.

Stick a fork in big Ange. Get Harry Redknapp until the summer. Couldn't be any worse

Your positive spin lasted long.

We have a shocking fanbase. Fans on this board now happy to be relegated. The shittest fans on this board, barring a couple of good eggs.

People can blame injuries, but Ange's game plan causes those injuries. Celtic had soft tissue issues when he was in charge also, just they were in a 2 team league. He's also incredibly stubborn, the high line was so easily exploited even by a shit team like Everton.

Not fully his fault but they can't be used as an excuse either

Iraola and Bournemouth have injuries and smashed Newcastle

TBF Iraola had no bench, Ange had to put Gray at CB at least... but yes, you have to find a way to win. It's why I don't buy all the United excuses about Amorim trying to play his style. You do what you need to win a game with what you have and deal with the new formation when you have 8 weeks of preseason. It's dumb and stubborn if you don't.

Well my tipping point with ange is he actually did change it today and it was even worse. Doesn't stand for anything anymore. All he had was the staunch view we play our way

Today a back 3 with 1 natural CB. 3 nil down. Looked lost. And with all due respect, we were playing an awful attack!

At least he tried for once I guess.

He looks defeated and bereft of ideas, have thought that long before the most recent run of form. In the clips I’ve seen of Ange his body language is very negative, stares at his feet/looking down constantly, that stuff doesn’t exactly inspire confidence and must surely permeate through the team. They look lost.

I thought we couldn't possibly lose to everton. To do so changing the way we play and getting smacked as well. It's worse than any Aussie probably wishes to admitted. He's losing the plot

That's strange, you seemed shocked that I tipped Spurs to beat Everton.

I guess sometimes you have to bottom out before coming back up.
We aren't that category of club. We've spent €740m since Summer 2019 window. Have also easily got the highest net spend in the last two seasons.

Backing from ownership is something that can no longer be questioned. The trend line from 2001 takeover to now is upwards, with regular European qualification, a new stadium and new training base. Something like 6 SF and 3 Finals in the last 10 years.

The problem is this ownership has taken us as far as they can, or anyone can... Fairly. Short of oil money we are not going to overcome the likes of Liverpool, United and the Abu Dhabi cheats for revenue and wages. The latter having a strong correlation to trophies. Keep or sell. Won't make a difference, will still be a 4th to 8th club.

Two years back there were murmurs from some Evertonians about wanting to be relegated to clean the slate. Couple months later they were over the moon when they stayed up, and now they've been bought out. Owners aren't going to want to sell when the value is low, which it would be as a championship club.

Lastly; the arrogance and hubris at being relegated. Oh it's okay we'll just be like Villa. So arrogant to assume. Why couldn't it end up like Sunderland or Pompey or Leeds with years in the 2nd division.

I would be worried with Leeds playing Gray at cb in the Champ. Don’t get me wrong I think the kid has done ok considering but that’s very tough ask on a kid but there’s no one else. Dragusin is ok at times but can be all over the place sometimes. Think he would be more consistent without high line

Having said that picking back three for todays game cost them badly first half

Do you think the supporter base will accept just being a 4th to 8th floater?
