I have no words, our club is seriously f’ed right now, absolute chaos.

Honestly I never thought I'd live to see the day where I kind of feel bad/sorry for MUFC fans but it's almost here.
Ultimately The Glazers are the ones who have been responsible for United's descent into mediocrity.

No one reasonable can expect another period of such unprecedented success and trophies like what happened in the Sir Alex Ferguson era, but it's unbelievable just how far your club has fallen, Old Trafford used to be as hard to win and feared as Camp Nou (for example)

You lost 5-1 when you went there.

Chris Wilder got the job at Boro I see.

He is a good lower division manager ,but when he takes a job he likes to control the whole club and run transfers.
As soon as his tactics got rumbled in the premier league it was game over for him.

In other news im hearing that Villa want Steven Gerrard..
Man utd want Brendan Rodgers .

I dunno about that, think it was more issues behind the scenes with the new owner that caused Sheff U issues.

I don't know how I'd feel as a Villa supporter knowing my manager sees the club as nothing more than a stepping stone.

Would you rather a manager who sees you as a stepping stone or a manager who sees you as a place to die?

Well yeah no one wants Ole.

Wait and see how it goes at Villa first... Gerrard's stock still seems pretty high given what he achieved in the league last season (and his Europa League record has been exceptional, too), but Rangers have really struggled to get going this season with out of form players, lacking cohesion, struggling to break teams down and just generally defensively awful - I wouldn't go by what the current table shows. The Scottish league can be a bit more forgiving if a club like Rangers aren't playing too well, but he won't have that luxury in the EPL. I'm sure Villa are looking at the bigger picture overall and maybe his ideas and tactics might transition well into Villa as a club, I guess they haven't put too much thought into how they think Gerrard has gone so far this season... Having said that, I'm gutted he is leaving, and during another crucial season as well...

But that’s the reality for just about every club. You dont think Brendan Rodgers sees Leicester as a stepping stone? Hassenhutl? You think Sean Dyche wants to stay at Burnley forever?

Rodgers seems pretty happy at Leicester, a club with a lot of ambition and resources. I think if/when he leaves Leicester it would be their decision not his.

The other two perhaps see them as stepping stones, although again I dare say they wouldn't leave of their own accord and have it pretty good at their current clubs.

I suppose I more mean that Gerrard is such an iconic Liverpool player that he will always be aiming to eventually manage Liverpool. In a similar but I suppose slightly different way, Lampard and Rooney at Derby would have felt similar for Derby supporters. I think to me it's something about the high profile nature of the former player rather than your every day manager managing a small club to eventually move on. It doesn't feel as definitive.
