yep ... it's weird right now, and i'm sure i'll be watching through my hands most of the next two weeks, but there is something about this team ...
the talent has been there and building for two seasons, but the maturity and the sustained intensity of the past two months have all but removed that traditional feeling you get as a swans fan of dreading any kind of "expectation", of thinking "too good to be true"
it's not a sense of destiny, more that this team has what it takes to win not just a premiership, but this one ... and even more important, collectively the players know it
right now, it feels like not only are we the best team still standing, we will be the last team standing

I‘ve programmed my lid to come off in the last 30sec of the granny, as Logan handballs to Paps who runs into an open goal. In my mind it’s all very Nick Davis - Geelong tears everywhere.

Gotta admit I'm guilty of things like this, crazy superstitions that my very logical mind says has no bearing on the result, but that little voice in my head just keeps yapping at me

I am going to be game enough to say Lid Off, everything seems to be falling into place for me, I live in Adelaide but have had to make arrangements ages ago to be in Melbourne to babysit my daughters dogs for a few days over the Grand Final time, she said to me at the time “Mum maybe the Swans will be in the grand final, how good would that be, we had just lost to the Bombers, I said no I’m pretty sure that won’t happen, the next great thing is she lives in walking distance to the MCG, now I find I have registered as a priority 1 member, will be going on my own if we make it, but yeh wow I think all the pieces are falling into place for us, Go Swans
