Whilst I do love the UCS sets and the nicer displays the older aimed sets have, a good play-set that’s an easy build is quite enjoyable.

Built the Death Star final duel today, knocked over in less time than the tennis match that was on in the background.

But I’m going to need a new display area, the bookshelf’s looking a bit full and just had to clear out another shelf tonight. Problem is I don’t think any of the sets I’m yet to build will even fit on there! Although the boarding Tantive IV set I’ve got elsewhere will fit in nicely if I bring it home.

Couldn't agree more.

After knocking over the Mercedes F1 last week and the 2 trams over the last few days, I was looking for something easy and quick today. Apart from those 2 customs from Brickvention over the weekend, I don't really have anything small to build.

Currently tossing up between 2 bigger options. The one I'd originally planned to build next was Friends Apartments (which I saw being sold sealed on Saturday for $600!!) - but I'm not at all excited about it after all the issues I've had with it. I'm fully expecting to run into more issues, and I'm not even sure whether I'm keeping it, or whether I'm building it to just check that I have everything so I can sell it.

The other option is, of course, Endurance... I just don't really have anywhere great to display it at the moment. Even less so when I consider Shackleton's Lifeboat :(

Goddamn that Shadow Box looks incredible. I will kick myself forever that I never pulled the trigger on that.

I think it bought it because I saw it on here, looks nice but is very, very fragile. Just noticed more broken bits in that picture!

Once I finish on the Star Wars sets I wouldn’t mind adding some batmobiles to the display, waiting patiently to see what the latest one looks like when SnakeMan86 finishes building! 1989 is probably no 1 on the Wishlist along side the Batwing which still seems a reasonable price on EBay.

Buy them all!!

It's a bloody decent size. Will look really cool next to the animated series backdrop piece.

Cool display piece. Will keep the pics coming 👌

Yeah, I can see a couple of studs on the right hand side that I doubt are supposed to be there.

You're talking this batwing right? I don't think it's going to get any cheaper... It's one of those that's on my wishlist that I doubt will ever reach a price I'm happy to buy it at.

Another Sharkie I see :thumbsu:. My attendances at their last two GFs (1978, 2016) essentially bookended my working life. Not sure I'll be around for the next one :p.

Yeah that’s the one, is one for about $320 going nearby atm, but I’ve probably blown my Lego budget for the rest of this financial year.

Hopefully not that far apart!!! Team looks good atm, much like 2016, just a couple of key positions away from a threat and hopefully the end of Penriths reign coincides with it.

Is it just me? Am I overly obsessed?

Or does Carlos Alcaraz's hairline give him a Lego head? He looks like the easiest custom minifig in the world to build.
