How much were K-Mart offering?

I don't mind shipping my spare one to you for their price, if you're happy to pay for postage from Perth.
That's very kind and generous of you, FP, but I couldn't take it from you at that price ($129). It's going to appreciate far more than that on the aftermarket. It'd probably cost more than that to post ;).

Triple points at the Stores tomorrow (24/11) plus "up to 30% off selected sets". Lego.com should also have discounted sets and their two current GWPs are still available.

UPDATE : The Certified Store website lists the "selected sets" but does not yet show the pricing. The sets are Hocus Pocus, X-Wing Starfighter, Disney Castle, Eldorado Fortress, Pac-Man, Land Rover Classic Defender 90, A-Frame Cabin.

If that's the list then there's some good gets in there, especially with triple points. There's a few in there I haven't seen on special yet.

The Certified Stores discounts are pretty good:

Hocus Pocus - $250 ($100 off)
X-Wing - $270 ($100 off)
Disney Castle - $430 ($170 off)
Eldorado Castle - $230 ($100 off)
Land Rover - $270 ($100 off)
Pac-Man - $285 ($115 off)
A-frame Cabin - $205 ($75 off)

These also qualify for their triple points offer today only, which gives you another 15% in points.

UPDATE : as at 9-30am, only the X-Wing, Land Rover and A-frame Cabin are still available (and I think the last of these is cheaper at Amazon)

Yeah, splurged and got PacMan and Bowser.
Off to IKEA tomorrow lol

That's the spirit!!!

I went a little crazy with 4K movies and books during the week of 'deals', sadly no Lego (at present I could still get tempted by something). Actually briefly considered the UCS Millenium Falcon when I saw it pop up twice over the last few days. But time/space being a factor and it also wasn't in stock for very long anyway so meh haha.

Anyone built the Atari console?
Yes! I loved it but I'm a sucker for the retro gaming sets. It isn't the most interesting build, but the little game vignettes are cute, and the pop up 80s gaming den is very clever. Probably recommended only if you're into the genre, I think there are better sets for the money.

Having said that I've just bought Pac-Man. Stoked!

PSA : I learned something about the Stores this morning. Wanted to order a Pac-Man but the site showed sold-out on line and in-store at my local at 9-30am. We were going to the shops anyway so I wandered into the Store and they had plenty on the shelves (at the discounted price)

I asked the assistant why the website was incorrect and he said it was their policy to hold back 30% of stock to keep for walk-ins to make sure the store stayed well stocked. Worth keeping in mind for future specials.

My family had an Atari console. I was banned from playing my brother in Midnight Magic because I would always kick his butt and then we would punch on. Good times
