unless something disatorous happens, theres going to be (is) plenty of interest, has enormous upside, very young, we are going to receive good conpensation. if he plays some footy this year even better.

I have no idea how AFL contracts work but there has to be conditions to be met within a contract. A contract that can't be breached isn't a contract. And there has to be recourse to a breach of contract.
a player would have to do something pretty extreme to get a contract outright torn up.

Dunno...he was worth two early firsts. Now a mid first. Who knows be the end of ths year...

Did we try to trade hjm at the end of last season and Mara found out about it and is that why he's not commiting to the club?

I don’t think so. Club has stated that they have been at times frustrated with his lack of progress to get on the park. But still value him highly at the club. Plus, he doesn’t strike me as the sentimental type.

Hypothetically though, if that was true. You have to reevaluate his intelligence. Sabotaging his own career and reputation for some petty crap.

He wants to play, he isn't at a physical standard to play. Needs to get through training first.
If he wanted to play he would turn up to training ergo he clearly doesn’t want to play.

How the hell anyone in any industry can get paid to go to the pub, to the NFL, to the NBA and not be sued for fraud in claiming mental health is beyond me. The term “woke” has been adopted across too many things but this is woke crap at it’s finest. Harden the **** up or piss off to deal with your health properly under supervision

I call bullshit on this whole backstory crap. He’s just being allowed to run wild and its AFL House and the stupid players union that are pandering to it.

I get the feeling he’d only want to bat or bowl, not too keen on the grind of fielding.

He looks fit enough to play VFL
As a coach you need to draw the line somewhere though, you can't reward someone without them putting in the effort. I'm sure he would be able to run out managed minutes but the club has set fitness/training standards he hasn't yet met

He could start at least turning up to training twice a week :)
Exactly and consistency is the key to this. Two weeks of attending training isn't enough to get back in the good books.

That may make sense to you and I but it doesn't to some who may feel more entitled.

If we treated a mate like this we’d be accused of being an ‘enabler’. But the way the AFL and AFLPA and clubs do these contracts to young men with an obscene amount of money and the ability to not even turn up at to work. This would be classically defined as an enabler.

just our luck to have 2 number 1 pick key forwards in Tom and JUH to finish up in their early twenties.
…and our third no 1. does his knee which curbs his career and he never gets to fulfil his potential. Moral of the story, just go for pick 2.

Kane Cornes running with the Saints as being the most suitable environment for Jammara because Ross Lyon.

Yep, this guy actually gets paid for these opinions.
That man knows nothing. He is even using this young man’s decline into a mental health abyss as an excuse to pour shame and shade on an enemy in Bevo. What a gutter dwelling human he is. Marra’s confusion is way too complex for Kane’s feeble mind. It goes back a long way. I have friends from Warnambool that say “you wouldn’t believe some of the shit that goes on down here” in the community JUH grew up in.
It has nothing to do with whether it is Bevo, or Ross or Clarko or Chris Scott etc.

Surely he can play managed minutes?

It’s just better to get him out there.

Match fitness is the best way to build fitness.
I'd love to see him play limited minutes in the VFL practice match against Carlton. Friday afternoon I think.
Even if it was only for a 10 minute stint in each of the first two quarters. Then on with the dressing gown.

Obviously you know a lot more about the situation, but just to clarify:

He wants to play, but doesn’t really want to train? So he feels like a place in the side is a right, and not a privilege?

It just makes it harder to understand considering he’s only down to training on a very limited basis, time granted away to train on his own and all that. If that was the case, surely he’d want to get down to training more and more each week, until he’s full time again and ready for selection.

The fact that the opposite is happening tells me it’s already completely over.

There is so much allegedly going on Jamarra's life and it is so complex someone could use Jamarra as their phd topic for their thesis.

Really should it be this complex you train hard, play to your best and get well paid on your performance. Trouble is Jamarra does not train hard or do his best.
