Hard to know some peoples mindset. I work with a guy in his 60's who has never been out of Victoria and he watches a lot of tv and I think he thinks what he sees on tv is all there is to see.

And some people just assume it's too expensive.

But everyone I've met who hasn't been overseas has had a narrow mindset and bitter outlook on life in general.

That's my inlaws .

Still live in pretty much the same suburb they grew up in .
Have been interstate once but spent all the time in the hotel room .

They cannot understand why we like to travel.
Asking them to travel more than 15 minutes for anything is a massive drama for them .
