Just catching up, jeez that was a super clean connection from Wilson earlier, didn't see him turning it around from last time against Noynay, good on him.

Nikita looks to have inherited the cannons for hands that run in the family, exciting start to a career.

Also, I've always liked Ryan, he's a tryer but Hogan just too good in the end. A few fair decent fighters floating around the middle/light middle or super welter whatever you'd rather call it classes here these days. Hogan obviously not going to get a title shot again as much as he talks about it, I think we'll see him and Zerafa fight tbh, nothing fight but hopefully puts him on his arse, we can all enjoy that.

I was really surprised by the Chocolatito/Martinez result over the weekend. Martinez is one of my favourite fighters and he's looked several classes above anyone I've seen him in the ring with before, but Choc gave him an absolute lesson. There really are levels in this sport.

In hindsight I should have predicted that Martinez' Mexican machismo penchant for blocking punches with his face would cause him problems as he went up the ranks.

This Wood/Conlan crowd is nuts. Amazing atmosphere

They've separated the supporter bases as well. Must be a worry of trouble between them as ive never seen that in boxing...

UK is the home of boxing now with these crowds. USA can take a back seat, i dont care if they have a bigger PPV market.
Yes it's good to see, even some of the undercard fights have been decent. I'm hoping Micky can get the KO!

Billy Dib beat Jacob NG saturday by DQ when NG threw Dib to the ground in a grapple. Dib popped a rib and couldn't continue.

Shame the Flamingo couldn't get up. Really entertaining fighter but if you can't beat a well past it Dib there's a very clear ceiling...

Still has the best walk out in boxing however

Had no idea this was a thing - https://www.news.com.au/sport/boxin...p/news-story/f57440c1452ff0bff12e118ac017e53d

Paul Flemings a good fighter in the co-main. Really actually but often gets injured. Wouldn't look out of place in a title fight
Billy Akaway returns to the ring after a long layoff and loss to John Ryder

All in all though, surely no one is paying $50 for this on a different platform on a Wednesday. The illegal viewers will far outweigh the legal

So this is being broadcast on Stan I believe so I'm sure streams will be even more readily available.

But yeah nice little card below it. No idea what Willis Meehan's career plans are, he seems a really good prospect but you don't see much of him.

EDIT: just checked and this will be his fourth fight in the last year which is good, hope he can get some momentum, Huni will need someone else to fight pretty soon.

Yeah i thought the same with Meehan. Looked good last time I saw him but that was ages ago. Doesn't seem his fights are televised much, might need to join No Limit or Lonergan.

Meehan is beneath Huni I think, depends on how much exp Huni needs before stepping up or going overseas I guess.

Never seen NG fight before .

Was a pretty dirty fight , lots of elbows and late punches.
Dib managed to frustrate him and then he lost the plot.

Was suprised Dib was still fighting tbh

What a joke that Stan customers have to pay an additional $50 to gain access to the Bazza and Sony Bill fight.

The sport is in some serious trouble in Australia if they can only get revenue by charging a fee on top of a subscription. I realise this has been the case for years, but it's Hall v Sonny Bill FFS. Back in the day you'd only have to pay $40 to subscribe to Tyson and Hollyfield. Just think about that for a second.

Yep, it's a glorified pub brawl.

I wouldn't pay an extra $5 for it, let alone $50.

Probably going to be a hard one to find a stream for too. :(
If people won't go to the trouble of hosting a stream for it (they would if there were lots of potential viewers), it says alot about the PPV quality...

It's a shame as there are some decent fights on the card.

Over the next few weeks I believe we get Tszyu, Hardman cards for free + the Huni one will be in June. Not the worst really

The last UFC PPV I was mildly interested in was streamed live on facebook by a bunch of people. Got onto some Maori guy's stream, he had a nice big TV & decent phone for streaming, only problem was his misses & kids kept walking into the room and talking..

I thought having a Stan subscription would’ve given you access to watch the fight, saw that you need to spend $50, no way I’m spending that just to watch SBW vs Hall.
Even more outrageous is if you have the sports package added to your subscription, you still have to spend an additional $50.
