And the phone gags are flat-out irritating now, they offer absolutely nothing to the show.

They literally announced before his show started that he'd be gone for 4 weeks, and they announced tonight that he's back next week.

I think there had to be at least 10 calls in a row, it's all the show was for a while. Phone rings, a comment that made no sense whatsoever, hang up, phone rings again. Wash, rinse, repeat. Not funny guys, find a new act.

Yep, it became totally unwatchable at that stage, I gave it away. I think it was last week Mick 'answered' the phone before it 'rang' at one stage.
With Mick and Santo both flogging the same long dead horse last night it was like watching two five year olds who have just discovered the same trick trying to work out who's turn it is to show it off.

Yeah its cringe but i'm a Dad now so this is the closest thing to humour on free to air TV now. Without Pang the dynamic is off though. You need all 3 to hang shit without fear and the fill in always seems uneasy

Don't watch the Front Bar regularly, but generally enjoy the clips when they pop up on my social media. Holy moly, it felt like that Port Adelaide supporter skit went for about 45 minutes.

My quick take on the Front Bar is the guests (the real ones, not Mooney) are gold; the rest of it is pretty dreadful.
