Freo would be your first name.......

Isn't ball cupping the whole point of the sweet fa anyway?

Not the way falc does it.

I hate crying during the good parts, if she took her falseies out it would go a lot smoother.

The 20 for 20 full forward line includes some of the greatest forwards to ever pull on the qooty boots anywhere. Thanks to the excellent as always Helen Wheels for the write ups

Forward pocket: tugga
154 games; Alf Andrews Medal S10;All SFA (S4, S11); Second on Top Five Goals Scored (230 goals)
Stalwart of the SFA, prolific goalkicker, feared and revered Qooty genius. Respected commentators frequently exclaim: “Delicious” at the mention of his name

Full foward: rfctigerarmy (C)
Fighting furies Founder, Inaugural Captain & Coach, 341 Games (2nd All Time), First SFA Player to 300 games, 387 goals, 4 Premierships (Equal 1st), Premiership Captain, 1 x Fighting Furies BnF, 3 x Fighting Furies Leading Goalkicker, S14 SFA Hall of Fame Inductee, 2 x All-SFA; Claw of Fame

All hail the Great Man himself, the Big Kahuna, the sine qua non of the Furies. What can anybody do but stand in holy dread in his presence. We are not worthy.

Forward pocket: tigland
Claw of Fame; 178 Games, 182 Goals, Fighting Furies Captain, Premiership Player, 2 x Fighting Furies BnF, 1 x Fighting Furies Leading Goalkicker, PHX Shield Winner, 2 x All-SFA
This team of greats would be incomplete without this most complete of players. A glittering career from a player who will never have to wish he had done more. Got some serious Qooty bling.

The all important Followers line-up is our next line to be revealed and to be honest I think in their prime this could be close to the strongest 3 person line ever seen on a qooty field.

Ruck: Equus
Debut S9 R2, 229 Fighting Furies Games (2nd most games for the club) , 165 Goals (6th most fighting furies goals), Fighting Furies Captain S13-15 & S21, 2 x Premiership Ruckman S10 & 11 (24th Sweet FA most finals played), 2 x Fighting Furies BnF S12 & 13, 4 x All-SFA S10-13, 24th most Sweet FA finals played.

Equus was the first one picked for the team and one of only 3 players to be an instant selection in their position, one of the genuine powerhouse Ruckmen of the competition winning 2 flags as the big man in the middle as a club record 4 All SFA selections. Having played the 2nd most games for the Furies and 2 stints as captain when the club needed him most will fittingly go down as one of the club greats and once footy_fumbler gets his way one of the Sweet FA greats as well.

Ruck Rover: Wacky Tiger
Debut S17 R1, 76 games, 63 goals, Premiership Captain S20, Fighting furies Captain S19 & 20, Fighting Furies BnF S18, PHX Shield S19, EKA Medal S17, Nuffers Medal S17, Captains Trophy S17, 2 x Mobbenfuhrer Medal S18 & 19 (second player to win 2, first player to win medal back to back), TFLUA-Tiger Award S18, 3 x All SFA S18-20.

Wacky was another who was an instant selection, burst onto the scene as a fresh faced rookie in season 17 winning the EKA medal only to follow this up by becoming the first player to win back to back mobbs medals, premiership captain, 3 All SFA selections there isn't anything Wacky hasn't done. Decided to go and see how the other half live after captaining the flag only to realise what the rest of us knew all along (it sucks). Back at the Furies and quite frankly back to his furies form both on and off the field, the wider Sweet FA better watch out

Rover: BILC
Debut S10 R1, 196 Games (4th most games for the club), 104 Goals, Fighting Furies Captain S15, 3 x Premiership Player S10-11 & 20 (18th Sweet FA most finals played), Fighting Furies BnF S14, 2 x All-SFA S11 & 13.

BILC/Bend it like Cotchin, BILC had his debut in season 10 just in time to win back 2 back flags one of the real stars of the competition in his prime and a fitting 3rd member of our 3 man 20 for 20 followers lineup. A club best and fairest and 2 all SFA selections, even captaining the club briefly in season 15. Stepped away from the club after his 3rd flag in season 20 having played the 18th most finals in the Sweet FA and the 4th most games for the Fighting Furies.

Onto the Half forward line, thanks to Helen Wheels and _Cayz_ for these ones

Half Forward Flank: Nuffers
S15 (debut season) won Fumbles Golden Boot and ROTY; currently 152 games; S20 Premiership team HFF; Goals scored: 195 (Fourth on Top 5 Goals Scored list); Number 33 on the Top 50 - Finals Played By Individual Player list
A representative of the face of modern Qooty, destined for greatness. Growing the game by example. His name is etched on the future with the Nuffers Medal, a coveted prize keenly contested by recruits.

Centre Half Forward: Cleishy
played 149 games at the Fighting Furies and won back to back rfctigerarmy awards for the Fighting Furies best and fairest player in s10 and s11. Cleishy is a 3 time premiership player for the club in the s8, s10 and s11 premierships, he also vice captained the club for s9-s10.
The experts always say the most award that shows who the true best player in a team is, is the best and fairest in a premiership year, well Cleishy did this twice in a row and prevalent poster and an excellent qootier to boot. Cleishy held his position in the team through the golden age of the furies in a true testament to how great he actually was.

Half Forward Flank hougie
Co-Captain and Co-Vice-Captain S8; RFC tigerarmy award S9, Deestroy Medal S10; Premiership V-C S10; Premiership player S11; Fifth-highest games for Furies (194); Number 30 on the Top 50 - Finals Played By Individual Player list
Perennial finals player, multi-award winner. An ornament to the Furies and the game in general has now taken the next step along the path to Qooty immortality.

The Centreline the true powerhouse line of any good qooty team and again you won't come close to a better 3 person line up than the Furies 20 for 20 centreline. Thanks again to _Cayz_ & Helen Wheels for this one

Wing: footy_fumbler
footy_fumbler played his first season for the Furies in s13 and then after a leave of absence and two season stint at other clubs he returned to the Furies for s17-s22. Fumbler has played 155 games in total, 121 of those in the Fighting Furies colours. He was named on the Wing in the All Sweet FA team in s17, was Co-captain for s17-s18, vice captain for s19 and a s20 premiership player. Fumbler was once again a Co-captain in s21.

footy_fumbler has been one of the lynch pins at the Fighting Furies for a long time and has always stepped up in leadership roles when the club really needed help. He has been heavily involved in recruitment and driving the Furies forward and on to bigger and better things. With an eclectic posting style and quirky way of speaking in what we will lovingly refer to as "fumblerisms" he is truly one of the club greats.

Centre: PHX (VC)
Premiership Captain (S8, S10, S11); 3x All SFA (S9, S10, S11); co-Vice-Captain S8; S18 Claw of Fame (141 Games, 70 Goals, 3 x Premiership Captain, 3 x All-SFA); Captaincy record (S8-12) 106 Games, W60/L46/D0
One of the toughest, most skilful players ever to pull on a Qooty boot. A driving force behind the early success of the Furies, building the platform for future greatness. We owe him big time.

Wing: This Is Anfield

This Is Anfield was at the club from s17-s22, and played 82 games for the Furies. He was awarded with All Sweet FA honours in s18 and s19, was the Fighting Furies vice captain from s19-s22, a Premiership player in s20 and was the rfctigerarmy award winner for the Fighting Furies best and Fairest player in s21.

This Is Anfield was beloved during his time at the club and is sorely missed now since his disappearance half way through s22. There is hope that one day he will return to the club, but for now he will always be one of the Furies greats.

Our penultimate line is the half back line thanks to Helen Wheels for helping me with this one

Half Back Flank: Grockadoc
Debut S11 R1, 208 games (Fighting Furies 3rd all time) 95 goals, 2 x Premiership player S11 & 20, S17 Pre-season premiership, Best & Fairest S15, Vic Captain S17
The old heads were right when they tipped him early in his career as 200-game material. Now a club leader in our Top 5 Games Played. Most of us have to play Qooty just to put food on the table and pay the bills, right? Not this guy. Lives well off his Qooty endorsements

Centre Half Back: TFLUA-Tiger
Debut S7 R10, 61 games, 48 goals, Premiership player S8, League Administrator (s08-09), Fighting Furies captain (s07-08).
Bursting onto the scene in S8 playing ruck in the Premiership-winning Furies’ team, this club legend is a byword in excellence. “Mr Best & Fairest” himself. There’s an eponymous award to prove it, too.

Half Back Flank: sante
Debut S5 R1, 100 games, 127 goals, Fighting Furies captain S6-7, Premiership player S5
Played in the drawn Grand Final in his first season, running off a forward flank. Went on to victory in the replay. That’s guts and determination. Has co-captained the Furies with our magnificent 20 For 20 CHB and also with our adored founder at FF. Brings yet another element of cohesion to this tight, super-tuned team.

We bring the Fighting furies 20 for 20 to a close with the bench and the coach. Thanks to Wacky Tiger for the bench write up and tgrs for the coach

Thanks to our selection panel also and to everyone for reading.

Bench: Shadow Man

Furies Debut: Season 18 Round 1, Furies Games: 92, Premiership Player: Season 20, 2 x Grand Finalist: Season 18 and Season 20, rfctigerarmy Medal: Season 20, Leadership Group: Season 21,

With 165 games already under his belt plus multiple premierships the Fighting Furies were extremely lucky that Shadow Man answered the great mans call to come do to Punt Road to exert his vast Qooty knowledge / experience and has been a consistent poster for the side for 5 seasons now. Part of the unlucky loss in S18, Shadow Man took it upon himself to right the wrongs of that disappointment to take home the rfctigerarmy Medal as Best and Fairest Furies player in the Season 20 Premiership year. A very deserving member of the 20 for 20 and all round nice guy, congratulations Shadow Man

Bench: Sterge

Furies Debut: Season 21 Round 1, Furies Games: 34, EKA Medalist: Season 21, All-SFA: Season 21, 2 x Furies Captains Trophy: Season 21 and Season 22, Nuffers Medalist: Season 21, Vice Captain: Season 22 and now joint captain for Season 23.

The least experienced member of the Furies Greatest 20 for 20 but far from the least influential. In his short time at the Furies and the Sweet FA Sterge has taken the league by storm to become one of the leading posters. In his debut season Sterge burst out of the blocks after some canny recruiting work by yours truly, Steele or Sterga as we like to call him behind the scenes took to the Sweet FA in general like a duck to water getting heavily involved in match posting whilst also pumping out some impressive media pieces for a rookie. After stepping up to vice captaincy in Season 22 its no surprise to those within our 4 walls that he has once again stepped up to lend _Cayz_ a hand with joint captaincy. No slouch on the field Sterge averages just under 18 disposals per game to also lead from the front on the field. Congrats Sterge on a thoroughly deserved spot on #smartysbench at the Furies Greatest 20 for 20.

Coach: captain blood 17
70 Games, Debut Season 14 Round 15. Entering the Furies fold mid season, he would go on to play a full home and away season the following year and impress with his unique style of match thread posting and ability to get along with the opposition even when bantering against them to no end. A few half seasons of games leading into Season 18, CB played all games on the way to the Grand Final loss to the Demons, Captain Blood became an even more influential figure at the Furies as a coach following the loss of grease reserves after KFC split ties with the Clubs sponsorship group. One of the greatest posters to grace the team, it's great news that the Captain has decided to return to the Furies in a coaching role from Season 23.

That brings to a close our 20 for 20 and kicks off our final pre season game against RU_ Van_Dyke and the Demons.

It will also be our first game with our surprise signing for season 23 rfctigerarmy
