That's immaterial.Shooting people, beheading and stoning to death is quite acceptable in Muslin countries.
no no, it may be ethereal, but it is a textile. That's immaterial.
Sorry. My mistake. I think I'm confused. Ile text you.no no, it may be ethereal, but it is a textile.
its an ethereal textile you silly duffer. it might be from marakesh and north africa, but it is material
This occurred to me too. Most queer.what's with putting them on crosses?
Sentencing criminals to an inhumane death penalty is accepted as a non criminal activity in a handful of countries around the world, including Japan and the US.We're not asking you to for sorry for Joko but yes, tying people to a tree and having them shot is definitely considered a major crime in pretty much everywhere on the planet. Glad you've acknowledged this.
you were put on a cross? This occurred to me too. Most queer.
what's with putting them on crosses?
My theory is this has nothing to do with religion but it makes it almost certain that once the condemned are tied to the cross, they can't move. Even a few centimetres could be the difference between hitting the heart and missing and causing a drawn out death by drowning in one's own blood.
Yeah maybe - but couldnt they just tie their hands behind their back or something. Pretty strange symbolism from a primarily Muslim country. My theory is this has nothing to do with religion but it makes it almost certain that once the condemned are tied to the cross, they can't move. Have they said anything about Saudi Arabia dropping American cluster bombs on civilians in Yemen.Indonesia have upped the ante over Saudi Arabian executions. Media are swarming over it.
Sometimes they refuse to stand up. No young private in a firing squad really wants to shoot a coward curled up in ball on the ground
Doesn't make it wrong.Whatever way it is it's still barbaric.
Certainly doesn't make it right either.Doesn't make it wrong.
Not as strange as using an instrument of torture as a religious symbol in the first place.Yeah maybe - but couldnt they just tie their hands behind their back or something. Pretty strange symbolism from a primarily Muslim country.
What made you think that?you were put on a cross?
As Bill Hicks put it, “A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back he ever wants to see a ****ing cross? It's like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a rifle pendant.”Not as strange as using an instrument of torture as a religious symbol in the first place.
your stigmata silly dufferWhat made you think that?
You might be right. Personally, I think it will just fade into obscurity, as passion turns into indifference. I think it a good thing to have had this debate though. The death of other humans should be discussed seriously. It seems few opinions will have been changed as a result, but at least we now know what those opinions are.it's time to move on and close this thread

That might be the purpose of this site.
I'm not sure what exactly you're trying to say here.Sentencing criminals to an inhumane death penalty is accepted as a non criminal activity in a handful of countries around the world, including Japan and the US.
Heroin smuggling is condemned and treated as a criminal act in just about every country on earth.
And I have no doubt the opinions of quite a few on here on an Aussie being sentenced to death, including ones that liked your post, if it was a convicted child sex offender or a convicted offender of any sort being sentenced to death in the US or Japan.
Good to see some posters on here using this incident to subtlely bash Indonesia for having a muslim society, well what can I say.
