Brushed them aside with ease and it should've been more.

It's a pity the Eagles couldn't play like they did against Richmond at the MCG against the Hawks in the Grand Final. I was hoping for a tight contest. But the Eagles will be better for the experience and will be up there next season I believe.

The problem is Hawthorn and Collingwood do not have a ground so they play at the G. How can anyone think that that is reasonable. OK no ground you do not play. Pretty simple really.

Interesting to note that no tenant club at the G actually gets to train there (due to the heavy game load each week). In terms of setting up strategies/Zones etc that are usefull in September, this is really important.

Hawthorn had the foresight 5-7 years ago to re-make the boundaries at waverly the exact dimensions of the G (those oldies will remember how huge VFL park was..) in anticipation of exactly that. I believe Collingwood have done similar at their place.

The new HFC training base at Dingey is mooted to have two training fields, One MCG Dimension and another Telstra Dome (Docklands) for prepping set plays.

I won't wish you lucky for next year because I won't mean it but I will say well done to all the supporters that got to Melbourne for the game over the weekend. The WC army is a scary prospect and Hawks were fortunate enough to get on top early and take you guys out of it. We whinge about the frees you get but its really the jealousy that your supporter group is so vocal THEY IMPACT GAMES.

Travel to Melbourne on the Tuesday ...train on the MCG properly for two sessions

IM IMMENSLEY PROUD OF OUR EFFORTS. hawthorn played ok ...they actually didn't play great by the way and that's what I think can spur us on ....the year of sucsess we had far outweighs the pain of loss

We must trade aggressively and if that means we trade a big name player so be it......

It's been a great ride this year and the destination wasn't want what we wanted but we still had fun and that's all that matters

So i went to the mcg open day for a kick at the g. Like the eagles the occasion got to me and my usual sublime skills were lacking and i was struggling to hit the target. There was a feeling inside of me that shit, this is GF weekend and im in the centre of the G.

Goalkicking was solid though and slotting them from 35 and the boundary easily. Did shank one and not make the distance at the city end though, so i understand JK.
