I have noticed a few posters getting very agitated lately. There is a lot going on in the world and I can see why it would be overwhelming for lots of people.

Anyway, I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where we can talk about things that we are thankful for in the footy world.

1. Richmond - Max Holmes Thank you to Richmond for trading us the pick that got us the league's greatest young talent - Max Holmes In later years when they 're-draft' his draft year, Max will be the #1 pick, guaranteed.
2. West Coast and Freo - Lawson Humphries West Coast and Fremantle - thanks for over looking talent in your own backyard, instead concentrating on drafting players from 'over east' who will only request trades back home. 7. Port Adelaide - giving Kenny a job <3 Port Adelaide. Thanks for giving an old Geelong boy a stable job for 10+ years. Thanks for throwing Esava, Motlop and Frank Evans a lifeline too.
8. The government - thanks for the new stadium Thanks to government on all sides for paying for the country's greatest regional stadium
9. Essendon - the Nate Caddy feint Essendon thanks for taking bog-average mid-sized forward Nate Caddy so we could get 2025 Rising Star winner, Connor O'Sullivan. He's the missing piece to our 'all-Irish' half-back line.
10. Hawthorn - for being a TRUE rival Thanks to Hawthorn for being our only true rivals. As much as the team are a bunch of campaigners, there's a grudging respect for how well the club is run. See youse on Easter Monday. Thanks to Collingwood for getting rid of Ginnivan, too.	"Ginni" re-enacting a favourite Collingwood supporter pastime
11. Lee Kum Kee Thanks to Lee Kum Kee for being the BEST official Asian sauce sponsor in the league. A masterstroke of marketing excellence to go with Marathon Dim Sims sponsoring the mighty Cats too
12. Richmond for their continuing obsession BONUS - thanks to Richmond for remaining fixated on Geelong despite your team resuming regular programming. 3 flags wasn't enough to soothe your red raw anguses
13. You flogs For staying the course despite your teams being shit and Geelong continuing on its merry way as the greatest club in the world. Your tears, MOTY, FOTY and DKM victories make it all worth while. Your shitbox team might beat us occassionally (even in 'games that matter'), but you know deep down we'll always be back next year - and you can't say the same for your own mob	The average Bay 13 flog after beating Geelong

I'm thankful to West Coast for taking Tim Kelly into their hearts and making him a part of their family so Jeremy Cameron could be part of ours

I'm thankful to the suns for trading us GAJ and the pick to get Tim Kelly so we could bring both the boys home for effectively the same pick we gave them

I'm thankful to Port Adelaide for offering Motlop a massive contract to give us above his value in compensation picks to bring GAJ and TK home
