The awkward moment when Waite gets a free for kicking Otten in the testicles.

Did anyone here actually see the incident? What Waite did wasn't cheap, and wasn't a free kick against. It was good use of the body. All the smart players stick their legs out to protect the space and mark the ball. Fev used to do it brilliantly every game.

Should it have been a free kick to Waite? No, but it shouldn't have been a free kick against him either. Attack the umpires decision by all means, but in this case Waite has done nothing wrong.
Putting your knee up is fine and common. Extending a boot studs up? I don't see that at all.

Otten pushed him out of the contest.... with his penis
That is classic!:D
If it was a free for a push it would have to rank up there with the Montagna deliberate out of bounds, on Thursday, as the worst decisions of the year. Maybe they're trying to outdo each other on how bad a decision they can make?

Waite is comfortably the dirtiest player in the AFL I'd wager - watch him go into a contest and have absolutely no eyes for it, or try and kick out into his periphery like he did to Otten tonight.

And he whinges for free kicks and usually gets them.

Had a bad record before he kicked McGuanes nuts to kingdom come.

One of the world's great mysteries he got off.

Shit decisions both ways. Scott Thompson fell all over Judd's back 15 metres out from goal yet no free kick paid.

you mean there one where even walls said it wasnt a free kick cos thompson got him in the side?

yeah.

The umps carried Carl over the line in the last 5 mins. 2 or 3 of the crucial non calls to the crows late in that game were disgraceful. I thought it all very ironic given how Carl fans were on here whingeing about the umps after the pies game earlier in the year. I am waiting for those same fans to start the thread apologizing to the crows for the umpiring in tonights game

If Adelaide were a bit more composed in that last qtr, they would have won despite the obvious biased umpiring. Two reasons why tonite was doubly frustrating. Jeez they pull some crap out their asses sometimes.

Correct call. Players stick their leg out all the time. In fact dangerfield did the same thing tonight. But should have been a throw in.

To the idiots who said the umps cost the Crows the game, if Carlton kicked straight at goal, we would have won easily

Got him in the right leg. Don't know why it was a free kick. Should've been a throw in.

Actually it should have been an Otten free, completely incorrect impiring call as most have said, looking forward to Gieschen's analysis of that one.

I think we've already established that even 2/3 of the commentators said it wasn't a free, so yeah, nah.

The consensus on here by a mile from impartial supporters is that Carlton got a free ride tonight as is often the case.

But you didn't kick straight and that is 100% Carltons fault. Despite how a team kicks for goal the umpiring should be better than that, especially late in the last when all the chocolates are up for grabs.

Sounds like you think it was ok to get those decisions due to Carltons lack of skill in front of goal.
