We'll never know what happened at Hawthorn with his dad I suspect. Reckon all of the 12-14 clubs from Nicky Winmar and back from there would have similar skeletons in the closet we don't know about.

But something very wrong clearly occurred during Cyril's time at Hawthorn and I suspect a lot has been swept under the carpet, even though it did go to court.

Ironically Kane was right in this particular exchange though. Hodge flying the flag for Clarko but his justification is basically "well technically Clarko has only had a year with them and we didn't get better until the end of the second season" which isn't particularly scientific.
