If two players tie, does that players odds get halved, or does the whole multi get halved.

Thanks in advance.

They are the same thing, the individual player's odds get halved, which means that the total odds are halved.
For example if you have 3 players at $4 odds, total equals 4x4x4 = 64.
One ties, his odds are halved to $2
Total then becomes 2x4x4 = 32 - so half the original total.

Question: What happens in Hd2Hd Brownlow betting if it ends up a tie? Do you still win, or does draw/deat heat rules apply, ie:

(bet * odds) / 0.5

This is the fine print at TAB:

"Brownlow Most Votes H2H - Select the player who will accumulate the most votes - Pay on Official Count. Singles Only"

What does singles only mean?

Also, this is my current bet on the Brownlow:

Top 5 - Luke Hodge @ $2.00

Also, am thinking of getting on:

Most Collingwood Votes - Dane Swan @ $1.10
Most Geelong Votes - Gary Ablett @ $1.28
Most West Coast Votes - Mark LeCras @ $3.75
Hd2Hd - Jack vs. Nick Reiwoldt @ $1.50
Hd2Hd Paul Chapman vs. Andrew Swallow @ $1.72

Thoughts????

Swan should, but Pendlebury should be right up his rear end.
Ablett is a lock for Geelong.
West Coast is a tough one, 7 votes would probably win it. It's either LeCras or Priddis IMO.
Jack SHOULD. but Nick has had 2 Clear BOG's, both against North. Could get another 3, against Sydney in Round 1 with 22 touches and 4 goals. Will either get 2 or 3. Won't poll in any other games...this bet just depends on how Jack polls really. N.Riewoldt will get 8/9

Stay away from the last one. Swallow could do anything, I expect him to poll well..but Chapman will to. Both around 17/18 mark.

Another good bet, if you head down to the TAB, is Chapman to win Group 3 (other players in Group inc K.Jack/Buddy/Rioli/J.Bolton. Paying $3.00, think he will smash it in..

Good luck :thumbsu:

Sorry got a question here, what do they mean by "Field"? Theres a bet available for Swan vs Field?

And why isnt there an "Unlisted/Any other player" option listed for TAB Player?

Cheers

Also anyone seen the "Rising Stars" group? NicNat is faves in that one, but surely Trengove and Rockcliff are better chances to win it in that group?
NicNat hasnt been that great and should only poll in a few games at best?

The 'field' means everyone else. i.e everyone else in the field.

A couple of ripper bets here too.

http://www.betedge.com.au/blog/76-betedge-brownlow-bets-edition

They have a link to a Luxbet $100 bonus for $25 deposit...WTF?!

I just opened an account two weeks ago getting my $100 bonus but I had to deposit $100 and now I'm pissed about this promotion!

Might open another one in my wife's name;)[Thanks for the heads up Cyril I'm already a member at Luxbet too. Anyway I love the value in the top 5 bets especially for Boydie]

Reading a lot of different blogs or articles rating Boyd to potentially get 18+ which would have to put him in some serious contention. Surely that would be more than enough to lead his team then..?

Like some of their bets but confused about why they have two players for the Melbourne most votes. I haven't looked at the numbers but guessing maybe hedging on two players?

They are hedging, both are paying over $3 to lead their team so as long as one wins then you profit. So I'm guessing you effectively get $1.50 odds though which really waters it down.

It would want to be one of those I guess otherwsie could lose a lot.

I love Most Team Votes markets as there are always a couple of roughies thrown up and it means there are some value.

I'm running the same multi structure I successfully ran last year, picking 5 players and putting multis on all 5 ($5), each combination of 4 ($5) and each combination of 3 ($2)

Boyd/Swallow/Sylvia/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $3564

Swallow/Sylvia/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $1188
Boyd/Sylvia/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $792
Boyd/Swallow/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $891
Boyd/Swallow/Sylvia/Rischitelli @ $648
Boyd/Swallow/Sylvia/Selwood @ $297

Sylvia/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $264
Swallow/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $297
Boyd/Selwood/Rischitelli @ $198
Swallow/Sylvia/Rischitelli @ $216
Boyd/Sylvia/Rischitelli @ $144
Boyd/Swallow/Rischitelli @ $162
Swallow/Sylvia/Selwood @ $99
Boyd/Sylvia/Selwood @ $66
Boyd/Swallow/Selwood @ $74.25
Boyd/Swallow/Sylvia @ $54

You will lose all your money. Swallow and Rischitelli both wont win so your only hope is the Boyd, Sylvia and Selwood one but Ablett will most likely beat him as well you are just throwing away your money.

We'll see. You could be right. But I went Thompson/McLean/LeCras/Tredrea/Hayes last year and none of them were favourites, yet ended up about $1000 up from a similar structure :)
