Close blockbuster gameOne to look back and have a lol at in 2029
Footnote to future self…we were just as bad in the season

Still feeling pretty good about this, ngl.I am expecting:
-Rhyce to break our premiership drought
-finals at least 7 of the years
-an average of 2 x AA per year
-Brownlow drought over
-Arden St coffee cart to be awarded best organic soy latte in Melbourne
-Browny to snag a Coleman
Half way through the decade and can there have been a more miserable time in Nmfc history?
Hopefully the pieces will come together with our Juniors and I will be writing about Finals by the end of the next 5 years
Me too - I used to beg my mum to let us support another team so we can see a win. The one game we would win a season was celebrated like a grand final. Home to watch the replay (if our game was on), up to the newsagent about 7pm to buy the Sporting Globe and Final Scores Herald to read the reviews of the game, and then lunch in front of the TV at noon Sunday to watch World of Sport.Mate, 65 - 72 was horrible. I was there.

Not suggesting that - I have said on here before this current team is as bad as that previous era. Just reflecting on how I felt as a kid back then. And that’s somehow different the last two seasons because we won two more per season?
