The bloke pot shotting Tommy needs to pull his bloody head in. It’s obviously a young bloke who hasn’t a clue. Anyone from the area knows what a great bloke and great footballer Tommy was. A mainstay in the ones as a teenager, great Corowa junior, slick left boot, old man was a legend, Sharon a lovely lady, great family. He’s also welcome back and highly respected by all clubs in the cluster. No chance that he’s on here talking rubbish.

First things first if you want to slander a bloke atleast have the guts to show your identity.

Secondly, make sure you’ve got the right bloke you dumb prick. Tommy is not on Bigfooty but it’s been brought to his attention the obsession you have on him and has read the comments and is honoured to see he’s still relevant

This shit needs to stop from you hiding behind an anonymous account like a coward and running down Tige. Tommy is a great mate of mine and has been an excellent servant to numerous clubs around our area and for you to attack him personally says more about you than what it does him.

Also to Rutherglenrambles you need to zip it too. Yes wahgunyah has made some monumental **** ups over the years and I do agree with some of your opinions but what is the purpose for you to continually run the club down? What do you want to gain from it?

All parties need to stop the negative and personal comments and get back to the good old footy chat or let the young kids talk about how good they are

Surely you blokes have families to enjoy Easter with instead of throwing false and degrading comments around

Going back years on here on this forum, it’s always one club that jumps on here pot shotting teammates, club mates, close b elected officials ect consistently

Better yet, merge with NW, alternate home matches. If the string pullers had any marbles upstairs this would’ve taken place by now. I put my few bob in a while back to be met with heckles.

Don’t pretend like you care for the club and I wouldn’t care for them either if I was treated the same way you were, I find it funny that blokes like eales and Parker would run your name into the ground yet it’s okay for their kids to leave the club,double standards at its finest but wahgunyah would be a better place with them 2 families gone anyway they’re nothing but trouble

I’m keen to talk about the TDFL.
Seems to be a great season unfolding. Barny have popped their head up to say hello.

Chiltern had a hiccup but don’t write them off..

League is smashing the junior setup with all grades having numbers, TDFL is on fire right now and seriously future looking bright!

Some walk up starters, Brodie A’Vard, Campbell Fendyk, Vanberlo, Marty B, Ben McIntosh, Tim Kindellan, Conor Newnam, Jack Di Mizio, Ashton Brookes, Kyle Macgee, Fin Lappin, Tom Anson, Jarrod Farwell.
I’d say they’d build a side around these names.

Would hope that even tho a couple clubs wouldn't have anyone get a game that the league will allow them to have players train with these players prior to picking the team. For young sides it would be beneficial

Yeah I would think they would. Teams nominate players I believe and then the side is picked from there so there would be a couple that get to train

In most leagues, clubs can nominate a maximum of 7 players. Although clubs like Wahgunyah wouldn’t have a anyone in the top 100 players in the competition, it would still be good for some of those boys to train along side the higher end players for some professional development. Thought it was a bit cheeky Powell nominating for the role, I think Brookes was the more experienced option. I’m not privy to the Hume league, but it is always nice to see the best players put their hand up to compete.

Skimming the paper this morning, the arrogance from Powell is incredible. “The new concept robs Powell of taking part in the interleague”. He picked his own pockets, ironically this rule has been incorporated to discourage exactly what he has just done. No knock on his footballing ability, wonderful player to watch. As mouth watering as Leitch and Chesser perched deep with Newnham would’ve been, I prefer the new rewards system. The next Kane Turner could be unearthed. Thoughts?
