Times have changed Buddy Boy. There's a new world order. Evidence is 7 of the last 10 Premierships have been won by non Victorian teams. 9 if you count the Kangaroos as the Gold Coast.

Probably a little premature, but don't get knickers in a knot Sweetie. I'm sure the Gold Coast team will want have some connection to it's humble roots in North Melbourne, so the history books and the Gold Coast Kangaroos will surely list these as flags for their club. Much like the Sydney and South Melbourne. So in the future, the 10 year period between 1996-2006 will show Essendon as the only Victorian based side to win the flag.

But the records will still show 1996 and 1999 premiers as "North Melbourne Kangaroos", no matter where they might end up in the future.

Just as the 1933 premiers are listed as "South Melbourne". Go look it up. You don't go and rewrite history just because a team moves locations. That's absurd.

A league with 5 teams? Have fun. The minute the 'super league' has to expand the amount of teams because they get no money from gate sales, down goes any wealth in it. Victorian football would live on just fine. Think about it, Victoria has 10 teams and the most in any other state is 2. This clearly shows that Victoria has the money. The 'super league' would be a financial disaster.

ALL SEE IN HERE IS THE VICS COMPLAINING. I say we start a super league with only wce, freo adelaide, bris, and port no sydney because they still see themselves as south melb. So the vics can have their precious VFL back. TAKE-IT for ****s sake. But I tell you what you will come running back with you tails between you legs pretty quickly. Wanting our money that the interstate clubs provide in memberships sellout games merchandise and coming to spend money in melb each year. I would rather see a super league grand final in adelaide than melb.

So to all you VFL lovers ( aussie joe and others) In my mind you can have it and shove it up your dates

I can go to all games except 1 (Sydney away)
No more listening to sh** club songs
No more Sunday games that no-one wants to watch ( ie Port v Freo )
No more Teal or Purple, Anchors or lightning bolts
Can we get Fitzroy back??

West Coast is a gimmic invented by Victorian advertising executives and followed by the same sort of people who believe that Hungry Jacks is a health food shop. (ie. people who will believe anything they see on an add)

In all seriousness it was people from interstate who were clamouring for inclusion in the Victorian game. If they now feel too threatenned by the Victorians, I would be happy for them to dissapear as you seem to desire. West coast have brought nothing to the game apart from serial criminal behaviour.
