Roast St Kilda in no mans land

I still feel they’re a long way off winning a flag. Definitely tracking in the right direction though. They urgently need some A grad mids coming through because their midfield cupboard is pretty bare.

Their supporters are surely hoping they continue to invest in the draft as they’ve done very well from it lately. They should stop offering stupid money for other clubs’ superstars and develop their own. If they keep making the right moves, they may just pinch one.
Steele, Macrae, Phillipou, Windhager, is a pretty good starting midfield I'd say

No-one is hiding ...... well not me anyway.

The Saints still have a lot of work ahead of them before I acknowledge them as anything more than a flash-in-the-pan.

We have seen way too many false dawns from them and there is no reason to suggest this is not another one.

Poor old Betty was shocked to find nobody showed up to her "how to look like a million bucks" makeup class at the retirement home.

Midfield seemed to compete pretty well today up against

Butters
Rozee
Horne Francis
Wines
Drew

All this without Steele.
Look at the recent premiership winning midfields and how yours stacks up to theirs.

You have a long way to go.

Man, im so glad you pointed this out. No one has ever mentioned it.

You mind if i email this to the club? You might have cracked the code for us finally.

Instead of projecting your insecurities about it all over the main board for the world to see, be grateful that someone has bothered to discuss your irrelevant football club.
9000 odd posts without your incredible insight.

I think were doing fine mate.

say what you want about st kilda, their list is in a vastly better spot than carlton's is at the moment
100%

It’s Carlton who are and will be for quite some time be in no man’s land.

Saints on the up tho hopefully not to far yet tho…

Another top8 draft pick this year to get
another elite mid would go close to rounding them off.

I think with dalrymple calling the shots saints fans can be confident they ll get someone decent

Thanks Captain Obvious for your insight on St Kilda's shortcomings. Without this post we would have never known what we were missing. I'll ring the club asap and let them know....

fact is most wouldn't know or ever care who runs through our midfield, They wouldn't care if outside of Steele and McLobster we are getting significant games into our young mids who, whilst raw, are looking as promising a group as we've seen in years

What a weird supporter base.

Yes our club has been a joke since 2002 sadly but St Kilda fans really should keep their mouths shut.

One flag and twenty seven spoons who's the bigger joke here? The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say.:laughv1:

Hmm beating Hinkley and Port Adelaide, yeah that's what you call proving the knockers and the doubters wrong!:laughv1:
Better than getting rolled by Richmond with a bunch of kids showing up to the game in their school blazers i reckon.
