Insane that the amount of saints fans who can’t see that the comment was in relation to one kick

But continue to be that upset about a singular comment
Mate your reading comprehension is awful if that’s what you got from the previous replies.

Exactly and when our President points this out he is a whinger.
Because when we talks he sounds like he wants AFL to step in and do something, rather than owning the problem.

President wants governing body to govern? Amazing

If St Kilda were near the top of the ladder in 15 years and we had 3x Riewoldt boys coming in as potential #1 picks in successive seasons I'm sure we'd see a rule change then

How can a club president own the problem of an inequitible draft? The draft was brought in by the governing body to bring equality and meritocracy to the competition.
It no longer fulfills that purpose.
Bassat has no ability to change the system other than publicising the issue and bringing pressure to bear on the governing body.

Go back and read what’s being discussed.

Does seem like that's what will happen. Vibe on our board is that he'll stay for the moment.
I reckon NWM will stay with a 4 year extension until 2029. Makes it 8 years and means he will be a free agent.

Saints win either way. Saints get a 4 years out of him or if he wants to leave, he can leave contacted and Saints get decent compo. Or he leaves as a free agent and Saints get a decent pick

Except he has owned the problem. If you listen to more than just clips you'd hear it.
