Roast St Kilda in no mans land

I agree that St Kilda were in no man's land when this thread was started, since then we have focused on going to the draft while shedding most of our older players. We currently have 31 players on our list who are 25 years old or younger.

With the Tasmanian compromised drafts approaching, there are a lot of clubs with much older lists that look set to experience some difficulty in obtaining the quality of youth that we have had access to.

The Collingwoods, Carltons, Geelongs, Brisbanes, Western Bulldogs etc might try to keep topping up those aging lists with free agents, trades, Father/Sons and Academy picks but it may not be as easy as it is now before the introduction of a new club.

The draft talent will be further diluted by the addition of the new club and unless another club decides to go full Richmond and sell all their marketable players for a megadip into the draft, then I don't see any quick fixes for any team.

A lot of that is not unreasonable or unfair, nice to read a balanced post on the subject.

Pistol, I always enjoy your mirth & witty comments but based on where we are at right now, beating the Hawks will take a minor miracle.
All in the mindset. And Crippa going beast mode. Hawks are more confident than Brad Pitt at the Moe pub at the moment so they might underestimate you guys. Get Wiz and Ginni to do a clinic Wednesday or something

I think they are missing a few through injury

Saints fans must hate seeing Hawthorn posters commenting.

You think about it, the time difference in rebuilding both lists and to see Hawthorn back up and competing for finals just after a successful run 10 years ago . . . meanwhile, St Kilda probably miss the finals (yet again) in 2025.
It's depressing if you were St Kilda.

Idk, it's pretty funny seeing how they can't stop thinking about St Kilda even when they're the most in-form team in the competition and we haven't done anything in 15 years

Mate you're acting like a bloke trying to have a conversation with some homeless dude sleeping rough outside a bank because you want to show him your collection of meme coin crypto so you can feel vindicated by all your "wealth".
