Wow. I really hope this turns out to be a case of medical and police mistake such as Kathleen Folbigg but for it to get this far I feel they must have some very compelling evidence.
Here’s the allegations:

*It will be alleged between August 6 to October 15, 2024, a 34-year-old Sunshine Coast woman administered several unauthorised prescription and pharmacy medicines to a one-year-old girl, who was known to her, without medical approval.

*It will be further alleged the woman, disregarding medical advice, went to lengths to obtain unauthorised medicines, including old medicines for a different person available in their home.

*Later investigations are alleged to have uncovered the woman carefully concealed her continued efforts to administer the unauthorised medicines until the matter was detected and reported to police by medical staff from a hospital in Brisbane’s south while the child was admitted.

*While the child was being subject to immense distress and pain, it is alleged the woman filmed and posted videos of the child.

*On October 15, 2024, medical staff reported harm against the child to detectives.

*Police took immediate action to protect the child while an investigation commenced.

It will be alleged the testing for unauthorised medicines returned a positive result on January 7.

The alleged crimes are:

1. administering poison with intent to harm, x 5

2. preparation to commit crimes with dangerous things, x 3

3. one count of torture

4. one count making child exploitation material

5. one count of fraud

In the police conference yesterday they actually stated that there’s been no suggestion by anyone involved in the case that the woman was suffering from Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy and they (QPOL) will allege her motivation was for financial gain and to increase her social media followers.

Nah, if and when the charges are proved she's going away for a long time and it will be well earned, hard years.

60 grand in donations by making a child sick?

Ffs name and shame this POD!!!

Imagine the child when they find out what happened when they are older.
The internet has certainly brought the worst out of people. Whether it's politics or down to the individual level. Time to turn it off! I keep having to remind myself - most people are decent and sensible, despite what I see and hear on the web.

I just saw a photo on of baby D**** with staples from one side of her head all the way around to the other side, just above the ear on each side, and baby is asleep or unconscious…. Mum is holding her in her arms and smiling for the camera like a Cheshire Cat. The child has tubes stuck to her face with surgical tape and looks to be in a hospital bed.

Firstly, who was taking these photos? And secondly; as a parent myself, it is a painful to look at…. like I look at the child and I can feel how awful that must feel.

I don’t know what hard time would look like in a Brisbane prison, is there such thing? But I know that people can’t just do these kinds of things to children and think and act like it’s ok. It’s not.

Of course there's such a thing as hard years/time, she'll be a target for bashings and she will be. Nothing surer.

Who suggested people can do these things and think and act like it's ok? Who are you referring to?

I’m referring to the accused.

Allegedly.

And here’s another baby from Melbourne’s North that unfortunately had the exact same diagnosis that the accused mother (the social media influencer in Brisbane) stated that her baby had received, tuberous sclerosis, a rare genetic disease that causes benign tumours:

I’m going to share about the story of the other baby, born thousands of kilometres away. I’ve kept the other baby’s name redacted just to be on the safe side.

“Weeks before D**** Sanderson was born, her parents’ world was torn apart when tumours were found in her heart and brain.”

D****, now 1, has tuberous sclerosis, a rare genetic disease that causes benign tumours.

She was born early at 34 weeks, and it was “love at first sight” for Ms Gentz and D****’s dad, Ty Sanderson, from Mernda, in Melbourne’s north.

Obviously, as soon as I gave birth to her I fell in love, and Ty did as well, absolutely,” Ms Gentz said.

But Ms Gentz barely had time to meet her baby before she was whisked away to the special care nursery.

There should be some sort of confirmation of these cases by a medical professional.
I personally think there should have been imaging done, before the two brain surgeries occurred but there is no blame being laid on the medical staff or the Queensland Children’s Hospital. And that’s fine.

But were there actually surgeries? Or something she has made up?

If there were, doctors should be able to explain them.

If there weren’t, who put staples in the child’s head?? If in fact there were staples in her head…

Yes, the baby had 2 brain surgeries.

A transcript from Poisoned: Social Media Spiral - The Time Line, 3 Dec 2024

The host is talking about what the father of baby *****, and the (now estranged) husband of the mother who is currently behind bars….

“So this account had been verified as the dad on Snapchat, and he <the father> posted…..”

From the dad:

“I figured this would be the fastest way to reach everybody, as I know everyone likes to gossip. For what it is worth, I had no idea about what <the mum> was doing to <the baby.>”

“I pushed for those surgeries because in my heart, I felt that it would help. I didn't realise that <the baby> was being drugged the entire time, causing her symptoms to be what they.”

“I'm not everybody's cup of tea, but I'm a good dad and I do my best to love and protect my children. I should have done better for them. I'm sorry I couldn't protect <the baby> the way I should have.”

“The children have been taken into custody under speculation I potentially had something to do with this. On everything I have ever known and ever loved, I have no idea what <the mum> was doing”

A****** <addressing the mum>. you are an absolute monster. You win. To all four of my beautiful children, I love you so dearly. I'm so sorry.”

Then the dad went missing for a bit, from real life, just disappeared for a bit…. But he’s since been found and he’s ok.

The lawyer for a Queensland social media influencer, accused of torturing her baby daughter to boost her social media profile, has asked that she be held in protective custody because of concerns for her safety.

Sadly, these social media post occur too often. I cringe everytime I see a friends post about a sick relative, generally a zoomed in shot of their hand holding their hand, with the clear intention of chasing likes. I once had a person I knew post them and her 10 year old daughter holding their ethunised dog, frowning at the camera! The world was weird before social media, but no where near narcissistic.

“So, you know, if the allegations are correct, that a nurse is the one that first noticed this, was working at Queensland hospitals, saw the mum's social posts, tried to go, hang on, that doesn't feel right. That doesn't, that's not what's happening.

And that was the medical professional at first to raise suspicions. I feel like that's a good thing.

A very good thing.”

There's video of the arrest here.

I wonder why police shared that video of her residence in Underwood to social media?

It was something that her lawyer asked Police Media about at Ms. Harris’ recent case mention.

A journalist from the Courier Mail figured out the address from the footage, and door knocked the residence soon after Allanah was arrested.

IMO: It wouldn’t be hard for disgruntled members of the public to figure out the Underwood address and seek their own recompense for the money they donated to Go Fund me etc…If a Courier Mail journo can work it out from the arrest video, and make it to the doorstep in under 24 hours, the public could work it out too, if they wanted to.

Much like Erin Patterson (who also did not apply for bail iirc) Allanah Harris is potentially safer behind bars than in the community, I feel. IMHO

Although 10 News reported that she would be applying for bail later in the month. Interesting.

One of the things I found interesting was that the lawyer asked the police rep, why did the police release the footage of her being arrested?

Yeah, yeah, that was one of the first things that he mentioned. And I think even the representative said, you know, I don't know, I haven't even seen the footage. He seemed like he was unaware of it.

Her lawyer said to him, well, QPS put it on their social media page. Like, what do you mean you don't know about it? And it's circulating everywhere.

And he even quoted saying that it was unusual. That it had been posted.

I heard him say that. And then I also heard there was a reference to the Courier Mail that they had posted it. And then I think all the media galleries, certainly the people from the Courier Mail, had a little look and a smile to themselves going, yeah, we did that.

We obviously shared that vision yesterday. And you actually said when it was released, that was that unusual.

Yeah, it wasn't unusual for them to be sharing that.

I didn't think it was, but obviously it is, because the lawyer mentioned it[…]”
