The injury report on Tuesday stated that they’d have more clarity on a return to play timeline for Chesser next week

In light of the above tweet it suggests to me Chesser had a follow up appointment with the surgeon this week and has been given the all clear to resume training

If that’s the case then 4-6 weeks is the sort of timeframe you’d expect to start building him back up and reintegrate into main training. Bear in mind Chesser has always been naturally fit aerobically so conditioning shouldn’t be as much an issue as it might be for others

Hopefully it’s accurate for Chesser’s sake as that would see him back (just) before the bye giving him the back half of the season to prove himself

Gavin Bell was asked Chess on ABC Sportstalk this morning- said that he saw an expert in Adelaide this week with a view to getting him back as soon as possible. Stopped short of giving a specific time frame but said he’s progressing well and they’re looking forward to seeing Campbell progress over the next few weeks

Injuries to ageing senior players past their prime.
Who would've thought.
Rinse and repeat, give billion dollar contracts for 40 years and then they get injured.
Yep, this hasn't happened to us before and yet we still don't get it.
Playdayouf...

McGovern out give opportunity to the keen desperate young guns wanting to play AFL since they were 2 years old l...

There's a positive in it is all I'm saying.

It's bad he's injured but it's good hes injured too.
Was about to like this until reading the last bit.

I would keep Bazzo in the WAFL to gain touch rather than coming in on Jessi in a blood bath.

Someone raw is going to have to come in for the blood bath, whether it’s Bazzo, Brock, Shanahan or Barnett.
