Hope he recovers enough to play football at a high level again, although that is surely it for his AFL career.

It must be a very frustrating way for things to play out, never quite building any consistency. But he's got every reason to be really proud of what he was able to do with a body that was always working against him. Despite all of the injuries, he's been able to build his body and become an imposing force on the field. And he's obviously earned the respect of his teammates and coaches through all of his rehab too. He's been backed in time and time again because he's impressed in what little time he had on field.

If anyone is looking for me, I'll be in his nest thread all year posting eulogies on a career cut tragically short. :(

He was too freakin tough for his own body to handle. I had such high expectations for him next year, and now we'll never know what coulda been.

Wonder what would have happened to him if that tackle and goal never happened. He owes a lot to the clever hands and vision of Bradd Dalziell
Before the GWS game that was pretty much the only thing he'd shown the whole time he's been here. Shame he never got a clear run at it because he might have been a good player, can't see it happeni now

If Tunbridge retires (big if, but you never know) would that make it three years in a row that we lose a player in between the list changes cutoff and the start of the season?

Would he look at Lars to extend his career? He really only had this year to prove himself. Who even was the last Lars knee reco?

What's the record for least games in a 6 year career? Tunbridge will finish with 10 games.
How many games did Morabito from Freo play before being forced to call it a day. Think he had 3 ACLs or something like it. Am really sorry to see Tunners be cursed as he was good back-up and if the injury gods could have given him a rest, he may have shown us what he could really do. Some players are just cursed unfortunately! (It's obviously the year for the "big man" curse. 2015 it was the backline, then early last year it was the mids, and now its Rucks and/or forwards. Not sure how tall Tunners is but he's certainly not small)

AFIAK the only benefit with LARS is shorter recovery time. So it'd make little sense to take that course when the 2017 season would be over regardless. They'll opt for traditional one.

Think he played nearly all of one season early on in his career and then about 3 games since
