We just won't die. Not yet, anyway.
For the ninth consecutive season, SFAEW is back for another six months of wrestling goodness(?).
Let's kick off proceedings with a recap of SweetaMania VIII and subsequent developments:

SweetaMania 8 Recap
Night One
- Shaun Freakin' Duggan defeated Frothies Mcveigh for the Intercity Championship, with the help of James Colorado!
- DemurePrincess upset Wosh in her first SweetaMania match!
- DragoDelph, Hatchy1992 and Blaze Storm won the Premiership Scramble against haydo, Tarkyn_24 and boncer34!
- okeydoke7 bowled over The Filth Wizard in a grudge match!
- por_please_ya betrayed the East Side Hawks and joined Il Famiglia, helping MWPP, Dingster and JoshWoodenSpoon defeat Callums_Guns and Loonerty!
- PhenomenalV1 banished the Enforcement's corrupt leader, ClarkeM!
- In the main event of Night One, serial_thrilla and TRUMAN#1 overcame their greatest challenge by defeating Tigerturbulance and Mrs Turbo against all odds!
Night Two
- Tonga Bob took out damicky in the Festivus Feats of Strength!
- Gralin, Supersuns and thewizardmelon regained the Trios Titles after Frothies Mcveigh took his revenge on James Colorado, omgfridge and Orange crush!
- cooney defeated Senor M by default after M's ankle gives out.
- TheInjuryFactory won the Hardcore Championship after slamming Braklet into a casket!
- Chipmunk rose about 7 other wrestlers to claim the ClarkeMoney in the Bank briefcase!
- Bonz narrowly defeated BigChippa52 in a slugfest for the ages!
- And in the main event of Night Two, Elton Johns Wig overcame the odds to defeat Il Famiglia head honcho tony for the World Heavyweight Championship!
New Year's Revolution
- The biggest thing to note from this show is that por_please_ya, MWPP and Dingster won the Trios Titles.

The Pre-Season special is happening on Wednesday. The match card should be going up tomorrow.
Midweek Mayhem made a brief reappearance at the end of last season (if only to get all the ClarkeMoney qualification matches out of the way), but it's unlikely to be coming back for this season. It's just too much additional work.
