Is it true?

Has Channel 7 given up on the AFL?

Seven have bid $250Million for the rights to the NRL from Channel 9.

As 9 has bid $500Million for the rights to the AFL.

It looks as though Seven given up on its flagship in the southern states and wants to increase its presence in the northern states.

If that is the case, it looks as though all will be finalised in the next few days, and if seven gets the rights, what will happen to the 10 bid of showing games?

Seven are just doing a bit of contingency planning. Making sure they have more the one iron in the fire.

This is a hallucination and these faces are in a dream. A computer generated environment; a fantasy island you can do anything and not have to face the consequences.

7 are actually trying to get the exclusive Pay TV rights to Thugby League not the NRL rights from 9.

In turn all Thugby games on Pay will be shown on C7 not Fox Sports.

But seeing that Rupert owns 50% of the NRL I can't see it going through to the detriment of Fox Sports. Unless Rupert has some cunning plan.
