There is no chance we will take Addison or JSN. It will be one of Carter or Tyree Wilson. If Anderson somehow falls to us then it will be him. D-Line is the biggest position of need and that is what we will draft at 5.

Agree, for JSN and Addison I was talking about pick 20, it would make a great WR 3 and eventually replace Lockett.

Addison may be on the board at 20 but JSN definitely won't be. Besides, WR is arguably the one position we are set for the moment other than QB. There are other massive holes to fill and I can't see us drafting a WR before round 3-4 unless one slides.

****ing horrible. 2nd half offense was deplorable. 12 yards in total. Once we lost Cross and Lucas Geno had no time in the pocket. The defence though. I am ****ing furious about it still being the same ****ing problems as last season. Pass rush being non-existent, the zone defence being picked apart with ease letting teams waltz down the field, and giving up 1st downs on 3rd and ****ing long again. If nothing changes going forward then Hurts has to go.

This was a game we should have won comfortably and would have if we had any semblance of a defence.

Also, **** this team and the constant need to stack the roster with DB's. Trying to be smart campaigners taking Witherspoon when Jalen Carter was exactly what we needed. Then adding more DB's in FA is just taking the piss.

I don't think I have been that angry in a LONG time. I don't care it is 'only week 1'. It looked like the whole team thought 'well Cooper Kupp is out' and decided to take it as a pre-season game.

Defense was deplorable - do we even have a defensive coach?

And our attack wasn't that much better to be honest.

Lions should roll us next week - obviously the hype that we were going to win the NFC West has been going to people's heads. You have to work hard. The 49ers comfortably won on the road and if they beat the Giants in week 3 in NY, they will be in a very strong position after 3 games. Don't expect them to drop the game against the Rams

That was like night and day compared to last week. How we got away with a win without Cross and Lucas with Geno only getting sacked once I have no idea.

I'm still not convinced by the defence but at least we weren't consistently giving up easy 10-15 yard gains every play.

The D was good but I find it so incredibly ridiculous that they can allow the QB to run again and again and again. The only way they were moving the ball was by Jones running with it and you can't tell me it would be hard to make an adjustment in game to stop it.

I'm feeling pretty hopeful about this year's season. Last year I thought we would be no chance and somehow we made the playoffs.

This year it looks like things are clicking a lot more and that first game just a blip on the radar.

I thought Charbonnet and JSN did some really good things when we need a spark in the the 2nd half. The kids are doing well.

Absolutely ****ing pathetic. Don't give any of those clowns their pay for the week. I get that Baltimore have a superb defence but the amount of times they got to Geno untouched was unacceptable. Yeah, he wasn't great but the amount of pressure he was under I don't think there was much more he could do.

I was texting my 49ers mate during the game who was hoping we win, i give us no chance on that final drive. Really didn’t think Lock had that in him to hit up DK and JSN. Walker kept us in and such a big impact player.
Will be great to get Witherspoon back for the last few!

Amazing performance. The best in quite a while and if they had have played like that all season we would probably be 10 wins rather than 7.

What a difference it makes when the defence can actually ****ing stick a tackle.

Also, that proves Jamal should not play another snap. The secondary looked infinitely better without him. One could argue they were better without Riq as well.
